Remember, this bundle is only going to cost you $30! If you haven’t gotten a WiiSpeak yet, and you plan on playing online with some friends when you pick up Endless Ocean 2, this bundle is certainly the way to go. Thanks to Mariomaniac45213 for the heads up!

Zipper Interactive's Ben Jones has some fighting words against Xbox Live users. At a recent European press event for MAG, he told Gamerzines that "Xbox Live [is] the more juvenile of the two," blaming "the things that are being said over Xbox Live." Certainly, anyone that's played a match of Halo 3 or Modern Warfare 2 on Xbox has had to endure trash-talking bigoted 12 year olds, like this one. But, we'd disagree with Jones. Uncharted 2 and Modern Warfare 2 on PS3 play home to players that are just as foul-mouthed as the ones on Xbox. Here are just a few examples. Imagine how terribly offensive the service would be if more players used headsets! If only there were more people like PlayStation VP Kevin Butler playing games online. At the very least, the online world would be a funnier place. Check out his new ad after the break. Why is it that Nintendo can’t seem to get enough copies of New Super Mario Bros. Wii out to retailers? Activision has no trouble doing huge amounts of Modern Warfare 2, with no retailer stock issues in sight. Nintendo, the company that has been pumping games out for years, is still having a [...]

The UK is seeing a rather disturbing trend…the return of rickets in their children. What’s causing this issue to crop up once more? Eh, let’s blame video games… “Kids tend to stay indoors more these days and play on their computers instead of enjoying the fresh air. This means their vitamin D levels [...]

Be honest -- regardless of which of the Great Console War's factions you side with, you're either going to purchase MAG or Mass Effect 2 at some point next week. While you're doing so, Toys R Us will be running a pretty sweet promotion: purchases one of those games and also grab Valkyria Chronicles on PS3 for just $20. Now, we realize the 360 diehards out there will have little use for this game. However, we suggest sending it to your favorite PS3-loving comment-sparring partner. Think of the hours of entertainment they've brought to your life! If tactical RPGs aren't your area of expertise, we also suggest checking out the rest of Toys R Us' site for a killer clearance sale on a number of games and accessories. You'll have to dig through a disheartening pile of Imagine titles to find the valuable chunks of ore -- don't let it break your spirits! It's worth it, we promise.

According to the front page of the Japanese Xbox site, Capcom and Microsoft are going to reveal a "title premiere" for the 360 on January 26. That "title premiere" could, of course, refer to a new game announcement, or it could refer to the release of new details about a known title, like the yet-to-be-dated Lost Planet 2, Dead Rising 2 or even Super Street Fighter IV. However, the "Capcom X Microsoft" wording suggests a project that is a bit more collaborative than, say, a release date for a multiplatform product, so it's possible we're waiting on a new Xbox-exclusive. In any case, it's easy enough to determine what this premiere is all about using the "just wait until January 26" method. That's next Tuesday, by the way. [Via Andriasang]

Nintendo of Japan has launched a new program to better differentiate its diverse Wii software lineup. According to the company, future Wii games that earn a CERO C rating (equivalent to ESRB's Teen rating) or above will be packaged in new black boxes. Likely, this initiative was started due to the upcoming release of Zangeki no Reginleiv, Nintendo's first CERO D-rated game (ages 17 and up) in Japan. It seems this is a platform-wide mandate, as Biohazard: The Darkside Chronicles looks to become the first third-party game to sport Nintendo's black packaging. By differentiating "hardcore" games from the rest of the Wii lineup, core shoppers should have a much easier time identifying the games they actually want. As for helping "casual" shoppers make the quick decision, it's as yet unconfirmed if Nintendo will continue to use that "buy me!" red box for all Mario-themed games. [Via Siliconera]

Next week's Rock Band update is a raucous blend of heavy-hitting tunes, comprised of songs from Motörhead, Blue Oyster Cult and Rage Against the Machine. The metal mayhem, for obvious reasons, won't be compatible with Lego Rock Band -- somehow we just can't picture Lego people playing "Godzilla" by Blue Oyster Cult without being rocked to pieces. Check out the full pricing and track details for the console releases after the break.
