Lots of the celebrities at last night's Battlefield: Bad Company 2 celebrity benefit tournament didn't know much about gaming, but Greg Grunberg is the exception. Even if he can't dive deep into the differences between next-gen shooters, he at least knows the audience, having appeared on Lost and Alias and controlled minds as Matt Parkman on Heroes. He was at the benefit in West Hollywood promoting the Epilepsy Foundation (his son deals with epileptic seizures, and Grunberg has done some advocacy work on his own as well), and right before he sat down to play BFBC2 alongside Chad Ochocinco and Marshall Faulk, he sat down to chat with us.

Read on to hear about what Grunny is doing for Halo: Reach, his favorite iPhone games and why he's so sure there should be one more full season of Heroes.

The links in the magazine aren’t live yet, but the ‘intro page’ to the magazine gives you a good idea of the interactivity that EGM is going for with their digital issues. After checking it out for a few minutes, I’d have to say that this approach is pretty damn interesting.

By now, European Wii owners probably feel like they've been waiting for Castlevania: The Adventure Rebirth since the actual 16-bit generation. We're happy to report that, according to the Nintendo Channel, the WiiWare reimagining of the Game Boy's Castlevania: The Adventure will be released in Europe next Friday, February 26.

As always, it's a rare treat to know ahead of time when a WiiWare game's coming out -- especially when it's a game someone out there may actually be interested in buying. Everyone, buy the Rebirth games so we can get a Parodius or Mystical Ninja Rebirth!

Finally, after being announced by the latest issue of Famitsu and then a leaked trailer, Capcom has re-reconfirmed the addition of Street Fighter III: Third Strike's Ibuki, Makoto and Dudley to the roster of Super Street Fighter IV. Along with the announcement, Capcom dropped a few pieces of concept art and screenshots featuring the new brawlers, posted in the gallery below. The developer also released two gameplay clips -- one featuring Dudley, which we've posted above, and one featuring Makoto and Ibuki, which we've posted after the jump.

Feel free to check them out, if you'd like -- however, we all know that these characters' existence is meaningless. We're just going to keep playing Rufus, because he's the best character in any game, ever. Just look at him jump! How does he jump like that?

Awhile back, Rising Star had talked about a possible censored and uncensored version of No More Heroes: Desperate Struggle for Europe. That’s not on the cards anymore. Rising Star is going to offer one version of the game, and it’s going to be the uncensored version. “We just had a closer look at things [...]

Valkyria Chronicles is the gift that keeps on giving*. Good thing, because it has a small, but loyal fanbase that's always hungry for more cel-shaded SRPG action.

Next Thursday, the PlayStation Store will update with another pack of Valkyria Chronicles DLC: "Edy's Detachment" will include six missions, each focused on mastering a certain class, including Scout, Shocktrooper, Lancer, Engineer, Sniper, and Tank. It's a small sampling of content (price: TBD) before Valkyria Chronicles 2 hits PSP later this year.

*Additional purchases required.

The Battlefield: Bad Company 2 celebrity bracket challenge was a lonely event for us gamers -- while there were lots of TV stars and NFL players around to talk to, we had to really search the club for someone who actually had some insight on the game for us. But there in the back, among the PR organizers and "Athlete Relations" representatives, we found the game's senior producer Patrick Bach (second from right in the picture above). He may never have starred on a network drama or celebrated on the field after a touchdown, but the guy knows how to make first-person shooters, and that's good enough for us.

After the break, hear what he thinks of celebrities playing his game, just how ready DICE is for release, and what kinds of secret plans his team has for DLC.

Have you ever heard of Gogo’s Crazy Bones line of toys? I haven’t but apparently I’m completely out of the loop here. This toy franchise is second to that of Pokemon, and now Activision has secured the rights to make games based off of the license. Could this actually be a serious [...]

Microsoft has sent out the latest Halo Waypoint update, detailing the content that we can expect to see in the near future. The update goes over the recent Halo: Reach info that has hit the interwebs, namely the ViDoc and the box art. It notes that this and future Reach info will be posted on the Transmissions section of the official Halo site on Xbox.com. There's also a Valentine's Day screenshot gallery on Waypoint, with help from one Hawty McBloggy.

The real meat of the update, however, is that a new short series from Rooster Teeth -- the crew behind Red vs Blue -- will begin airing on Waypoint starting this weekend. The three part series, entitled "Grifball: Expansion," will air every Saturday starting February 20 and concluding on March 6. The series "tells the story of Team Slipspace and their confrontation with the newest addition to the International Grifball League of Earth." Check out a trailer for the series above.
