Hi everyone! It’s Kumi again. First, I wanted to thank everyone for reading the last post announcing the THE EYE OF JUDGMENT LEGENDS. Today, I’m back here to tell you that the free demo is available today on the PlayStation Store. So be sure to download it and start playing!

Once again, THE EYE OF JUDGMENT LEGENDS is a digital card-based game that lets you collect, trade, and battle magical creatures on the move that combines card trading, magic, and adventure with the freedom to play wherever players want. Today, I’d like to inform you about the details of two exciting features!

Story Mode:
Yes, there will be Story mode in the PSP version! Story mode is the core single player mode in THE EYE OF JUDGMENT LEGENDS. The story contains an intricate plot and is divided up into a series of chapters. In the demo, you will get to experience the first three chapters of the story mode. If you play all three chapters, it will unlock a rare demo-specific card which can be carried over to the full game, so make sure to play all chapters!

Multiplayer Mode:
Both Ad Hoc and Infrastructure modes are supported in the full game. In Ad Hoc mode, you can enjoy head to head battles with other players and trade game cards. Infrastructure mode lets you battle against other players from around the world as well as accessing online ranking. In the demo, you will have a chance to experience the Ad hoc mode (excludes card-trading feature).

And another cool surprise, is that the save data you create when playing the demo can be carried over to the full game (excluding the story mode progress).

Okay, now go and play the demo today! Enjoy!

We're not gonna lie to you -- we were initially tempted to write this post in full-on mid-'90s late night TV ad format, but we instead chose restraint in telling people about the BioShock 2 sale going on over at Newegg. For just $49, you can snag a copy of the (at least somewhat) critically acclaimed return to Rapture on either Xbox 360 or PlayStation 3 over the 72 hours that Newegg's sale takes place (just under 60 left as of this writing).

If the recently released DLC weren't enough to entice you to dive in to BioShock's sequel, maybe $11 off the asking price will do it, eh? (Because a man finds sweet sales, a slave buys at full price ... or something.)

Here's some refreshing news: Tecmo announced the release date for a handheld game whose existence isn't totally humiliating: the supernatural murder mystery Again for DS. The publisher gave a specific day to its former March release date: March 30.

In addition to the date, Tecmo provided some more evidence of Again's gameplay in the form of a trailer. Fans of Rorschach tests, full-motion video and, particularly, totally intense headache pantomime would do well to have a look. Seriously, this trailer contains the most intense fake headache we've seen in the game.

Other than providing a more specific April release date of the 15th (in Japan at least), the latest trailer for No More Heroes: Heroes' Paradise which we've dropped after the break does little but fill us with frustration. First and foremost, we don't have any idea what it says because the whole thing's in Japanese. Second, the quick cuts don't give us enough of a chance to ogle the newly HDified graphics in the Xbox 360 and PS3 port. Third, we wanna see pure madness produced by that light ... sword (not a saber, that's for sure) if the game's gonna be in HD.

We might normally say something at this point about hoping for the best when the game arrives at retail, but this one's a Japan-only release, folks. Time to bust out that extra milk money (and Japanese dictionary) for the import copy, eh?

The bad news: The Behemoth still hasn't nailed down a release date -- or even a release month -- for the PSN version of Castle Crashers (though it's still slated for this year). The good news: PlayStation 3 owners will be treated to some brand new content. Specifically, a recent entry on The Behemoth dev blog revealed that the PSN version of the game will feature a new volleyball mini-game. The mini-game will allow up to eight players (locally or online) to play a game of volleyball using any of a player's unlocked characters. It will feature new serve and spike moves and magic attacks that place one of eight status effects on the ball. The volleyball game will even include its own leaderboards.

Again, it's not much to dull the pain of waiting, but at least the PSN is getting something extra in the deal. Also, if it makes you feel any better, The Behemoth will be showing off Castle Crashers and Battleblock Theater at PAX East next month.
