We're less than a week away from Infinity Ward finally delivering fans from "mapathy," the fake disease it came up with to describe fan boredom with the same old Modern Warfare 2 maps. In this newly released video, we gain a better appreciation for the disorder, as well as the upcoming cure: The $15 "Stimulus Package", due March 30 on Xbox 360.

If you play so much Modern Warfare 2 that you've grown bored of it, we're not sure "buy more of it" is the best life choice from a big picture perspective, in fact, we'd probably suggest something like "enjoying the sunshine with friends" or "gardening." But hey, who are we to argue with Infinity Ward's scientific research?

Ah, the long-in-the-works Nintendo Channel debut for Silent Hill: Shattered Memories. Surprise, surprise…it looks like no one is playing it. Yet another core-focused game on Wii that is going ignored. Perhaps it has something to do with the Wii version of the game going for $50 while the PS2 version is $30. [...]

Imagine, if you will, a story about a downtrodden Italian plumber name Mario, recently emigrated from his Mediterranean country to a land of opportunity and promise: a place called the Mushroom Kingdom. Along with his (curiously thinner and taller) twin brother, Luigi, Mario arrives and soon finds the love of his life, Peach. She's got identity issues and seems to be a magnet for trouble.

Even though she's royalty, her family is suspiciously out of the picture, so the two spend loads of time together and hit it off. They get into 'shrooms and get mixed up in those pipes -- before they know it, they're in with all the wrong people and Peach pawns everything but the pink dress off her back just to get a fix.

Seriously, who wouldn't watch that movie?

This was Nintendo’s first major foray into the portable industry. Sure, they had some other self-contained portables that were met with success, but the Game Boy was a true platform. This was an NES in your pocket, or as close as you could get. Without this bad boy, we wouldn’t be speculating [...]

The Nintendo Channel is celebrating WarioWare D.I.Y. this week by showing how renowned developer Masahiro Sakurai decided to use the software. In the near five minute clip above, he takes us through all of the steps of game creation -- from basic concept to pixel art to gameplay mechanics. It's a brief yet inspired look at how anyone can create a game in Nintendo's unique new entry in the WarioWare series.

Check out the full clip above, then be sure to head past the break for the rest of this week's Nintendo Channel content.

Look, we know the headline kinda endorses cheating and we often err on the less evil side of things, but desperation has left us little choice. It's just that some of us are so damn sick of hearing about how great Griffin's Blissey is. Yeah, we get it, dude -- can't we just eat our peanut butter sandwich in the break room in peace? We don't care about how much damage your Hitmonlee does. That's why the tutorial video on how to cheat using the Pokewalker past the break is such valuable intel for us.

So, we've resorted to doing the unthinkable: we're going to play Pokemon. We're going to play and we're going to level up our pokemans so high, it's going to fog up that jerk's glasses and take the breath right out of his lungs. Soon, he will know true pain as he's squashed beneath the scales of our Magikarp. Embarrassment, thy name will soon be Griffin McElroy!

In its continuing battle for buff dude beat-'em-up supremacy against UFC Undisputed 2010, EA Sports' MMA has confirmed three new brawlers via Twitter: Joachim Hansen, Josh Barnett and Vladimir Matyushenko. In doing some research, we've found out they're all very scary dudes and are apparently adept at the punching and the kicking. They should feel at home with the rest of MMA's roster of ripped rabble-rousers.
