Xenoblade is going to provide two control schemes; one for players that want to go Wiimote/Nunchuk style, and one that features just the Classic Controller. It’s great that we’re learning all this information about Xenoblade…but when are we going to hear about a localization?!

Move over Move, Sony's taking gaming into an all-new dimension: scent. Remember Smell-O-Vision? Of course you don't -- you're not that old. Well friends, the crack technology featured in the 1960 film Scent of Mystery is the future again, as Sony has announced "PlayStation Scent" with OXYtracking -- head past the break for the video press conference. Just affix the PlayStation Scent to your nose and start playing. At key moments, scent information embedded in the Blu-ray game disc will be transmitted to your nose!

The "Odorama" begins with a re-issue of Naughty Dog's Uncharted 2. Finally, you can smell the tucked in part of Drake's half-tuck. Then, experience all the sweet nose candy of upcoming releases Gran Turismo 5 (burning rubber) and SOCOM 4 (burning flesh!) -- now with PlayStation Scent support. Order yours today from Webhallen.com!

We had a pretty good time with Paradox Interactive's upcoming downloadable shooter, Lead and Gold, at GDC earlier this year. We had a chance to talk to developer Fatshark CEO Martin Wahlund, who not only talked about creating a download-only shooter, but also confirmed a PS3 release and plans for downloadable content.

Why make this a download-only game, instead of a fully featured retail game?
Marin Wahulund, Fatshark: Our aim was to create an easily accessible game with a low price, so doing a digital release seemed like a good fit. We also wanted to make a game that we will continue to support post-release. It is easier to do that when your players stay connected.

There are many online-only multiplayer shooters coming to download platforms. Any concerns that the market may be oversaturated?
Of course that is always a fear. You are always nervous when you release a game, but I do think that you get fantastic value in our game in terms of the low price with the high quality of the game. The game is also set in the Wild West and there aren't many good shooters in that setting. In addition, the heavy focus on teamplay and 3rd person view makes it more unique.

Of all the April Fools jokes created for today, IGN may have just unleashed the best. It's the missing trailer for the once-was-gonna-happen Halo film. We don't want to ruin it for you, but let's just say that Master Chief is uniquely able to straddle the line between being a fighter and a lover. Where else did you think all of that Spartan research money went?

Anyway, hit up the Man Cannon and fly past the break to finally see the face of Master Chief!

A portion of a Nintendo Life review… …if you’re on the market for a new sleep aid, this will probably pay for itself after the first couple of weeks. Other than that, suffice to say you won’t get any kind of bang for your eight bucks here.
