A listing on GameStop's website reveals a second Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker hardware bundle for North America. In addition to the previously-announced set containing the "spirited green" PSP, GameStop is also exclusively offering the "Big Boss Bundle," which, for $200, includes the game and the camouflage PSP-3000 found in the Japanese bundle; in addition to a 4GB memory stick and a carrying case (neither of which is included in the standard bundle, which is also $200). Both hardware bundles also include a free digital copy of imminent disaster flick 2012 ... for some reason.

So, the Big Boss Bundle is more stuff for the same price. You'd have to really hate camo to opt for the other Peace Walker bundle. Both are scheduled for release on June 8.

[Thanks MLC!]

I imagine Super Mario Galaxy 2 in 3d being amazing. Too bad Nintendo has no plans for that! Who knows, maybe they’ll be some way to retrofit 3d to games…in the far-off future.

Well, this is it! The wait is over. After seven episodes of watching The Tester cast grind their way through a series of elimination challenges shaped around the skills necessary to be a game tester, we finally get to see who wins the job at Sony Computer Entertainment America.

In Episode 8, “Season Finale,” the final three contestants (Amped, Cyrus, and Nauseous) face an intense series of mini-challenges involving problem solving, dexterity, PlayStation knowledge and game play. There are no judges, no elimination rounds, and no excuses in this flat-out race to the finish to determine who wins the title of The Tester.

The Tester is available in both Standard and High-Definition formats from the PlayStation Store and also showing in PlayStation Home, Theater 8 where another cast member t-shirt will be rewarded. And don’t miss the new commemorative item that is also available for purchase!

Thanks for downloading and watching, everyone. Please allow folks to enjoy the show and refrain from posting spoilers.

We had a great time bringing you our first original competitive reality series. Hope you enjoyed the show and please keep sharing your feedback with us!

Since it's universally accepted that Just Cause 2 is completely butt-crazy-gonzo, we weren't really surprised by today's release of a free, downloadable, "pimped-up" (according to the Xbox Live listing) ice cream truck for all platforms of the game. The "Chevalier Ice Breaker" features ultra low suspension (for those hairpin mountainous curves), front-mounted bull bars (for the ramming of things) and, presumably, more ice cream sandwiches than you could shake a Popsicle stick at.

Also available via PlayStation Store later today and for PC.

You have an empty shelf, right? Of course you do. So there's really no choice in the matter: You've got to fill it with something, and that something might as well be game merchandise. As luck would have it, we've got some particularly sweet merchandise in mind just for you. Specifically, we're talking about the nifty Chrono Trigger figures you see above -- or "Chrono Figures," if you prefer.

As Destructoid points out, the statues recreate scenes from the original SNES instruction booklet. Entertainment Earth has the figurines available for pre-order -- scheduled to ship this October -- with the set of 4 statues available for $40. There's no indication of the actual dimensions of each statue, though each certainly appears detailed. The only question that remains: Where's Marle?

Here's something we wouldn't have guessed we'd be talking about today -- at least not for real: a WiiWare game about fish playing sports, and also eating ravenously. But that's exactly what Equilibrio creator DK Games has presented us with. Fishie Fishie is based on a one-button PC game by Captain Forever creator Farbs, about a fish who must eat continuously.

DK Games seems to have added some strange extra modes for the WiiWare version, essentially turning it into a multiplayer sports game. That you control by flapping your fins to swim. See Fishie Fishie football and more weirdness in the trailer after the break.

[Daigasso! Band Brothers & Daigasso! Band Brothers DX] Nintendo of Europe released its summer lineup today, featuring dates we mostly know -- Super Mario Galaxy 2 on June 11 -- or aren't terribly concerned with -- Repetto Presents Ballerina in May. Metroid: Other M is still undated, having been slated for Q3, and therefore out of the bounds of the new listing.

However, there are a few welcome surprises, most notably: Jam with the Band. Originally released way back in 2004 as Daigasso! Band Bros., this rhythm game disappeared from Nintendo's launch lineup elsewhere, never making it to the West until now. We don't know why Nintendo decided to revive it now -- or if it's the first game or the sequel (both covers pictured above) -- but it's scheduled for release in Europe on May 21! Samurai Warriors 3 for Wii has been dated for May 28, as well.

Nintendo has also dated Capcom's Mega Man Zero Collection for June. The release date for this DS compilation of GBA Mega Man games had been up in the air following the announcement of its delay in Japan. Also, a previously unannounced DS title from Hudson, Shooting Watch, is set for release in May. We assume this is based on Hudson's Shooting Watch toy, which measures the number of button presses you can achieve in 10 seconds.

The sequel to a relatively obscure Game Boy Color game is about to become one of the most convincing arguments for owning a DSi. WayForward has finally released the first trailer for Shantae: Risky's Revenge, the first in its episodic DSiWare platformer series. You can see it after the break, courtesy of IGN.

The new game appears to retain what people loved about the original -- like hair-whipping, dance-based transformations and the evil pirate Risky Boots -- and adds lovely new graphics and a multi-plane effect. If you'd like to see what's on the other DS screen in gameplay (spoiler: it's just the inventory) you can see a few screenshots here.
