They may be at the very end of the list, but that doesn’t make this any less impressive. EA is now a Fortune 500 company, after seeing revenue rise since 2008. The thing I want to see is just how long they can hold onto their spot!

In addition to PSOne games and made-for-PSN games, the Japanese PlayStation Store features a modest selection of games from NEC/Hudson's PC Engine system, in its "PC Engine Archives." In a massive update, Sony is adding 1/7 of the games from another NEC console, the SuperGrafx. Okay, so it's just one game.

Next week, Hudson's After Burner-style shooter Battle Ace will be available on the PlayStation Store next week, along with Victory Run, a racing game for the original PC Engine. Strangely enough, the Wii Virtual Console is also host to a single SuperGrafx title in Japan, but it's a different one: Capcom's Ghouls & Ghosts. Of course, both the Virtual Console and the PlayStation Store are devoid of SuperGrafx games outside of Japan.

We're of the opinion that the world could do with more cute robots and more hand-drawn 2D games. It's no wonder, then, that we watched the trailer for the WiiWare game Robox so raptly. Robox tells the story of a cube-shaped probe robot exploring a strange, lush planet, surviving with the help of the indigenous life-forms.

The trailer reveals platforming, an offensive "drop" ability that can be used to break blocks, and a retractable arm that can grab items. It also features segments of pointer-based shooting. Dreambox Games has yet to reveal a release window or price for Robox.

#salesget It was kind of a barren wasteland for new releases for video game buying friends in Japan, just one new title sneaking into the week's bestsellers games. Still, a little surprising to see New Super Mario Bros. Wii take first. More »

Have you ever wondered what Project Natal actually sees through its beady, robotic eyes? A direct feed of the Natal's point-of-view was recently revealed to the audience of Microsoft Israel R&D's "Think Next" convention yesterday afternoon. Just past the jump, you can check out NextGen-News' video of a live demonstration from Microsoft VP of Hardware and Technology Dr. Ilan Spillinger and a female participant, both of whose genders and movements were successfully identified and Avatar-ified by Natal.

Watch the video after the jump to see Spillinger get more excited by this technology than anyone has ever been excited for anything else on the planet, ever.

Click image to sneak a peak at the pre-order ticket

Snapped by a Joystiq reader at his local Best Buy, the above image confirms that those who pre-order Alpha Protocol at the big blue box store will gain an exclusive set of stealth-based weaponry. The aptly titled "Stealth Weapons Pack" includes a "Hamilton Marksman Pistol and Samael Typhoon SMG, each with custom upgrade kits and bonus ammo." This pre-order bonus is valid to anyone who pre-orders between April 25 and May 29.

And just in case you're worried that every story about Alpha Protocol you read on the internet has to be about a delay, rest assured: it's still on track for a June 1 release.
