While some special edition artbooks could be politely identified as "pamphlets," Naughty Dog has taken a different approach with its illustration-filled tome based on Uncharted 2. The studio (with help from Ballistic Publishing) is releasing a 272-page book featuring the game's "concept art ... character studies, environment art, character modeling, game art, cinematics, motion-capture, animation, and effects." However, all these half-tucked works of art exact a fairly high price from those who wish to acquire them.

There are three versions of the art book: a softcover print which costs $59.99, a leather-bound "special edition" which costs $129.99, and a $300 Limited Folio Edition, which is bound in suede leather, embossed in gold, placed within another suede leather-bound presentation case, and includes a certificate of authenticity signed by the game's designers. Only 200 ostentatiously rich Nate Drake enthusiasts will get their hands on this limited print, so interested parties should hop off their money-chairs and pre-order now.

With April already halfway over, it looks like Zeno Clash: Ultimate Edition has once again missed its expected release window. According to the latest update from publisher Atlus, the XBLA game is now scheduled to be released during the nebulous "Spring 2010" period. Just to make sure we don't forget about the bizarre first-person brawler, Atlus has equipped its delay announcement with a new trailer (seen above), featuring Ultimate Edition's new Zeno Rush mode.

Zeno Rush tasks players with fighting through certain sections of the game as fast as possible, with their clear times posted on an online leaderboard. To make things interesting, the mode also introduces a new weapon, the Time Hammer. While being a nasty implement in its own right, the Time Hammer also knocks a few seconds off your completion time for every successful whack.

If you couldn't find room in your budget for No More Heroes 2 amid the first quarter's overloaded lineup, perhaps Amazon's latest deal will encourage you to spend a little of that tax refund on the temporarily discounted sequel. Earth's Biggest Bookstore (remember when Amazon called itself a bookstore?) has marked down Travis Touchdown's revenge story to $35. It's the Deal of the Day, so when supplies run out or the clock strikes midnight Pacific Time, there will be no more cheap No More Heroes 2.

If you have yet to experience the delightfully bizarre original, the Xbox 360 and PS3 ports were released in Japan this week.

Hi everyone. I’m John McLaughlin, and I’m a producer on the new PlayStation Move brawler, The Fight: Lights Out.

We had a really positive response from everyone who played the game at the Game Developers Conference under the working title, “Motion Fighter,” and since then we’ve been working hard on getting the game together. We’re currently in an alpha state and things are starting to look sweet.

We’ve conducted a ton of motion capture to ensure that every punch, every hit reaction, every dirty move and every hard-hitting knockout makes the player feel right in the thick of the action. So get ready to go blow-for-blow in the fight of your life because now, only with PS3 and the PlayStation Move motion controller, you’ll be able to throw punches with total precision. Throw jabs, hooks and uppercuts any way you like, just as you would in real life. Duck, bob and weave in real-time with the PlayStation Eye tracking your head movements.

Don’t think you’re much of a fighter? Well, it doesn’t matter — just fight dirty instead! Launch a two-handed ear drum burst to stun your opponent and follow up with a sly elbow to the face. Grab hold of his ears, head-butt him and then finish him off with a backhander. This is The Fight: Lights Out, and you can fight any way you want to – just make sure you win! All of this is only possible with the freedom of movement available with PlayStation Move.

That’s all from me for now. Be on the lookout for more on The Fight: Lights Out at E3. In the meantime, check out this new video to the get the low down on how PlayStation Move helps deliver the ultra-realistic brawling experience of The Fight: Lights Out.

Namco Bandai will unleash Demon's Souls upon European territories on June 25, ending the region's dearth of pleasurable pain, the publisher has announced. The PlayStation 3 exclusive will be released as a limited "Black Phantom Edition" package, featuring a soundtrack CD, an artbook and a strategy guide. Atlus, as you may recall, published the game here in North America, following its debut inn Japan under the Sony label. The game was co-developed by From Software and SCE Japan Studio.

As has become normal, there's an impressive new helping of comics for the PSP. This latest update adds the first eight issues of Kick-Ass, which has, as they stamp on the covers of those rectangular objects known as books nowadays, become "a major motion picture."

Check out the full update after the break.

No doubt you stumbled into this post thanks to the alluring aroma of savings, so let's get right to it: Dell is currently offering one heckuva deal on 12-month Xbox Live Gold subscription cards -- $30, plus $7 for shipping. "Hold on," you say, "the headline says two years for $60!"

Bear with us, okay? See, a clever Woot.com forum goer has pointed out that if you purchase two 12-month subscriptions, your order will qualify for free shipping. So there you go: Two whole years of Xbox Live for $60. Well, plus tax, but come on, that's a good deal.

According to the ESRB, Sega is preparing to rekindle its love affair with light gun game ports for the Wii. Having already released House of the Dead 2 & 3 Return and Ghost Squad on Nintendo's console, it looks like Sega is adding both Gunblade NY and LA Machineguns to the collection of rehashes (in addition to the excellent, original title House of the Dead: Overkill). It appears that both games will be combined in a single package, as the ESRB has rated "Gunblade NY & LA Machineguns Arcade Hits Pack" for Wii.

If you missed out on either game in the arcades of yore, both involved flying around cityscapes and hosing down enemies with machine gun fire. Of course -- barring the release of a massive Wiimote peripheral -- the Wii version probably won't share the arcade version's fierce force feedback. The revelation of continued light gun game ports also raises a very important question: What's a gamer gotta do to get some Virtua Cop? Make it happen, Sega.Gunblade NY & LA Machineguns Wii pack rated by ESRB
