It’s a pretty big grab for gaming when Mike Krahulik and Jerry Holkins, the creators of Penny-Arcade, land on the TIME 100 influential people list. They actually land really high up, coming in at spot 14. I’d say that speaks pretty loudly for those of us out there that love gaming, and everything [...]

Though there's not much new in the "playable games" department, this week's PSN update adds a number of expansions to at least a few games you probably already own, such as Dante's Inferno, Super Street Fighter IV, MAG and Just Cause 2. The PSP gets some new DLC as well, in the shape of a new content kit for LittleBigPlanet and Buzz! Quiz World. Oh, and don't even worry about whether or not "(I've Had) The Time Of My Life" made it into Karaoke Revolution, because, as of today, it totally has.

Those of us gamers looking to recreate the Studio Ghibli movie experience of a young child being drawn into a magical hidden world will just have to be patient. Ni no Kuni, the DS RPG co-created by Level-5 and the legendary animation studio, has been delayed until this fall. (It had previously been delayed from last year to this spring.)

Not much of an announcement of the delay was made -- just quite indication from various Japanese gaming news sources that Ni no Kuni's scheduled release window had been changed to the fall. Perhaps as some consolation, some new screenshots were released, depicting Oliver and a friend working on a car (seen above). If you'd like to know if this is a game worth waiting for (even if a localized version has not been announced), please direct your attention to our impressions of the TGS demo.

A portion of a Nintendo Life review… The 800-Point price tag is a bit steep, but given the large number of over 100 levels, not to mention the significant replay value offered up, DodoGo! should still prove to be worth it for fans of this type of game. Of course those expecting more of a traditional [...]

Odd to see that the older version has gambling, while the DS version is going to have ’simulated gambling’. At least we know this sucker is finally on the way to store shelves. It definitely took long enough! Thanks to Johnny4 for the heads up.

After some setbacks, Ace Team's XBLA port Zeno Clash: The Ultimate Edition has finally managed to lock down a firm release date: May 5. Next week, Xbox Live enthusiasts will get all of the fantasy-based punching they can handle and, until then, we've got a new trailer for you to check out.

It highlights the game's gallery and awareness system. The former is a great way to play the voyeur and admire the whimsical designs of the game's fantastical inhabitants. The latter highlights the game's approach to alerting the player of nearby enemies, who apparently like to sneak up from behind for sucker punches galore. Haven't they ever read The Gentleman's Guide to Proper Fist-fighting?

The Halo Reach clippers, guaranteed to take you from Brute to Spartan[TM]
Paired to go along with the beginning of the early access "friends and family" beta for Halo: Reach came the above tool, some seemingly military-grade Oster hair clippers, bundled in a heavy duty Pelican case that probably cost more than the clippers themselves. Inscribed with the WelcomeToNobleTeam.com URL - haven't you seen the short yet? - and delivered at the oh-so-welcome hour of 7am, the package contained another treat: a copy of Halo 3: ODST.

Of course, that ODST disc won't gain you access to the beta until May 3rd, but luckily this morning's announcement of a partnership between Halo Reach developer Bungie and Activision - solidifying the dev's departure from Microsoft, Halo, and platform-exclusivity - will give you plenty to think about over the next four days. Check out the entire kit in the gallery below while we figure out the best way to give it to a reader.
