God of Whoa: Click to browse high-res gallery. It looks like we finally know what the "Spartans Stand Tall" teaser site was all about. Sony has just announced God of War: Ghost of Sparta, a new PSP-exclusive game developed by Ready At Dawn Studios, the same team responsible for Chains of Olympus. "Excitement for the God of War franchise is at an all-time high and we're thrilled to continue that momentum with God of War: Ghost of Sparta," Scott A. Steinberg, vice president, product marketing, SCEA, said in a press release. "This new adventure will showcase Kratos on PSP like never before in an experience that fans and newcomers can enjoy on the go, anytime, anywhere."

Ghost of Sparta features Kratos once again, this time in an adventure that takes place after the first God of War on PS2 and delves into Kratos' rise to power. According to Sony, Ready At Dawn will utilize "state-of-the-art visual technologies" that will allow "higher quality environments and characters." In addition, Ghost of Sparta will offer "over 25% more gameplay" than its PSP predecessor, while adding more enemies on screen, and a greater number of boss encounters.

God of War: Ghost of Sparta is planned for release "later this year." We expect a lot more to be revealed at E3.

A portion of a Nintendo Life review… What ought to be a rock-solid racer is marred by a Career mode that forces players to return to the same course too often. Otherwise, it looks and feels very good, and a variety of challenges set it apart from other racing games, but prepare for plenty of repetition. Full [...]

The Xbox Live Arcade offerings this week run the gamut, whether you're in the mood to plumb the depths of the unknown or snuggle up with a known quantity.

If you're in the mood to relax with something a little more familiar, check out Raystorm HD, a remake of the classic PlayStation/Saturn shmup from Taito. But if you're ready for something a little ... different, you owe it to yourself to play Zeno Clash: Ultimate Edition, which, no exaggeration, gives us the creeps just typing it. It's a first-person brawling semi-shooter -- like Chronicles of Riddick, if its main character had just dropped all the acid.

You'll be able to pick up both Wednesday for 1200 ($15) each.

It’s good to be back! I hope everyone is enjoying the beginning of summer! So, it’s getting warmer and warmer out here, and we are all looking forward to outdoor activities, right? But not Badman! He fears that more Heroes are invading his kingdom, and are trying to take his peaceful kingdom away from him!

Today, May 4th, What Did I Do to Deserve This, My Lord!? 2 was released to retailers nationwide!!
Just like the original My Lord, this newly released My Lord 2 has lots of humor and American pop culture references! You can definitely expect to find yourself chuckling while playing it.

So, what’s new with this sequel, you may ask? You already know that there are more heroes and different kinds of monsters, right? Let’s talk about the new game systems!

First of all, the interface has been greatly improved, as you can see from the screenshot. The Monster Bar shown at the bottom of the screen tells you the ratio of monsters you have created in your dungeon. This will give you a better idea of which monsters you should focus on creating more of, or ones you might need to thin out. Remember, balance is the key! Also, the orange, bolded text shown on the top part of the screen are comments from the heroes. Some old wise man once said, “The annoyance of heroes makes annoying comments!” It’s so true! But don’t be distracted by it! The good thing is that you have the option to turn off the sliding text if you don’t want to see what the heroes are saying. The white text above the Monster Bar is “Heaven’s Voice.” It tells you when mutations occur or something else changes in the monsters’ habitat. The red square box in the bottom left corner is the “Live Camera,” which shows what the heroes and Badman are up to!

Let’s talk about “Badman’s Chamber,” shall we? “Badman’s Chamber” is a training ground of sorts for you. You can modify and customize your monsters and dungeon without being interrupted by the heroes. Here, you can observe and study how monsters grow, and how the ecosystem works. If you aren’t confident in taking up the roll of “God of Destruction,” you can always visit Badman’s Chamber to practice. If you want to have heroes stop by your dungeon, you can absolutely add heroes from the settings for Badman’s Chamber.

* You can modify your monsters too!

Oh, I have to mention the new feature, Dungeonquake! You will have to use quite a bit of Dig Power, but it will prevent mutations from happening, and it also destroys the heroes’ contraptions, such as Save Flags, Traps, etc.! When the Dungeonquake happens, heroes will be stunned for a little bit, so it can be very useful if your Overlord has a close encounter with the heroes.

Before closing, I would like to emphasize that the UMD version of What Did I Do to Deserve This, My Lord!? 2 will come with the original My Lord!? game, as bonus content! Visit the Official My Lord 2 website for the code to unlock the original game! Or, if you already bought the game, check out the manual booklet for the code. For those who are planning to download My Lord 2 from PSN, we are offering the original title, What Did I Do to Deserve This, My Lord!? at the reasonable price of $7.99! I hope you’ll enjoy both games.

Thank you again for reading my post! Have a great day!

PS. We have launched the Official Website for Trinity Universe!

PPS. The preorder for Trinity Universe has started at RosenQueen.com! We are offering a special art book for this game as well. Check it out!

If you were trying to get your Halo: Reach on last night, you probably remember that crucial point in time when it just plain stopped working. It was a dark time, to say the least, but Bungie is working hard to get things in order.

A recent post on its forums states that while you should still expect "suboptimal performance," you can at least get into some games now. While we'd certainly appreciate a fully-functional beta, we're not complaining -- playing a few matches is better than playing no matches, after all.

It's the beginning of the month, which means it's time to run down the list of Guitar Hero 5 and Band Hero DLC. In May, we're getting three separate track packs -- the last week of the month seems to be void of anything new, for some reason.

Like alternative pop ensembles like Snow Patrol and Alpha Rev? How about classic rock troupes such as Steve Miller Band and Lynyrd Skynyrd? How about Love in an Elevator? No, we mean the Aerosmith song, not that time you were trapped and -- forget we said anything.

Head past the break for the full list of DLC for May.

Though the pithy in-game dialogue in Dragon Age: Origins and Mass Effect 2 has clearly demonstrated BioWare's collective sense of humor, it appears the company wasn't kidding around when it promised more DLC for its main franchises. The latest Xbox Live Newsbeat has announced a new downloadable chunk of content for Dragon Age: Origins, titled "Darkspawn Chronicles." Aside from its release date (May 18) and its price (400, or $5), nothing else has been explained about the listing.

We've contacted BioWare to ascertain said details. Personally, we're hoping for playable Darkspawn characters. Haven't you always wondered what's going on inside that poor little Genlock's scaly head?
