If you play video games because you're driven by a powerful desire to be the very best, you may want to consider skipping this one. 42 Entertainment and Disney Interactive recently paired up to release an online, Unity-based version of the arcade game featured in Tron, titled Space Paranoids. It's your basic first-person tank simulator, in which player navigate a maze while fending off enemy tanks and Recognizers. So, in that respect, we guess it's not all that "basic."

It's really fun, but regardless of how adroit you become at tank-shooting, you'll never be able to beat the top score of 999,000 set by "FLN." Still, if you can be satisfied by aspirations for second place, Space Paranoids is definitely worth checking out.

The sad thing is what is happening to the Nintendo DS right now – the piracy issue. I was in a Best Buy over the holidays and I was waiting on customer service for something. A really nice gentleman and his daughter were in line to ask a question. I was surprised to hear him [...]

Natsume said awhile back that they might be bringing some of their classic titles to the Virtual Console, and now we finally have some proof of that! Hopefully this is just the start for Natsume’s back catalog. It’s a great start, at that!

How much do we really know about the land of Hyrule? We’ve seen plenty of maps that feature Hyrule, as well as some surrounding locations. Over the years, Nintendo has been reinventing the Zelda series, and Hyrule goes right along with it. Just how much of old-school Hyrule is still felt in [...]

This monstrosity has to have been made on purpose, right? It’s so random it hurts my head! That’s why I want one of my own so bad! Thanks to Jingleboy for the heads up.

Though the first day of the working week is typically despised by most intelligent lifeforms -- especially Garfield -- we've got something to look forward to this coming Monday. Following information about Game Informer's feature article on LittleBigPlanet 2, Media Molecule Tweeted that the game is, in fact, real, and that we can expect "full mega details on Monday."

Details supposedly culled from the Game Informer feature have already found their way online, but we think we can wait another 48 hours for the first-hand skinny.

[Thanks Luis!]

Click image to check out our 'stache of screens Telltale has sent over some media from Sam & Max: The Devil's Playhouse's second episode, The Tomb of Sammun-Mak, which takes the duo down a decidedly gentlemanly path. Sure, there's only the one in-game screenshot where Sam is sporting some bushy whiskers (good show, old boy!) but there's still other items to leisurely peruse, perhaps while sipping a fine Earl Grey tea. There are also several pieces of art for your eyes to appreciate, including a posh train and rather down-on-his-luck-looking Max, if that's more to your liking.

So, put on your most dashing outfit and be sure to head into our gallery for a sophisticated look at the upcoming episode. Tally-ho!

Pre-rendered game trailers may not do a very good job of preparing us for actual gameplay, but it's hard to beat good CG for setting the mood. Case in point: The intro trailer to Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands. We've got the Prince, a mysterious woman, a massive battle, daring leaps and one of the faintest goatees in gaming history. See it all in the trailer above.

Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands hits consoles on May 18 with a PC version to follow in June.
