This is part of GAME’s clearance sale, and while the online shop is out of stock, brick-and-mortar retailers are still filled with copies. Thanks to JamPony for the heads up!

Tetris on the Game Boy is still one of my favorite games of all-time. It’s also the best version of Tetris, in my opinion. I poured so many hours into that game, and many other versions of Tetris for that matter. I wonder just how many months/years I’ve spent flipping Tetriminos!

Soul of Darkness is a mobile phone game from Gameloft, and I’ve actually played it. It’s pretty damn good, but would sure benefit from some traditional game controls. In steps the OFLC rating, which confirms that it’s going…somewhere. The listing states that the title is ‘multiplatform’ right now, but that’s a mistake [...]

“It’s a little hard to say right now, but if it’s something people want, then there may be the possibility for that.” - Yoshio Sakamoto Well, we know that Zero Suit Samus makes an appearance in Metroid: Other M, but through a cut-scene. As for actually taking control of Samus while she’s in that suit, [...]

Here’s a bit of a surprise, to me at least! Tip sand Tricks magazine has been around for over 16 years. Somehow, this gaming magazine has managed to stay around longer than almost all the other game mags out there. I guess the key to game mag success is filling your pages [...]

Somehow -- and we don't know how -- pre-orders for Lego Universe kicked off this past Friday and, again, we don't know how, there's no "special edition" that includes some actual Legos. Some of you Legomaniacs may already know, but boxed copies of the upcoming Lego MMO from Netdevil are now available for pre-order at Lego retail outlets, the online shop, the amusement park (Legoland!) and on LegoUniverse.com.

Dropping your 39.99 USD/EUR or 29.99 GBP on a copy will net you not just the game itself on DVD, but also a month of free play (30 days, to be precise), a "story leaflet," and a user guide -- some folks will also get an "exclusive Minifigure" and a code to redeem said Minifigure in-game ("while supplies last"). Though the game has been in closed beta for some time now, the game has yet to receive an official launch date. That said, we have to imagine that Netdevil is building towards that announcement, right? You know, with Legos? Isn't that what they do over there?

In a recent interview with UK gaming mag PC Zone, Treyarch head Mark Lamia announced that Call of Duty: Black Ops -- unlike the last Call of Duty game on PC -- will feature dedicated servers for PC players. "I think dedicated servers are excellent. I don't see any reason not to see them unless ... well, I just don't see any reason not to," Lamia responded when asked about Black Ops' PC iteration, reports CVG.

Covering his bases (and likely not trying to insult Infinity Ward's reasoning behind not supporting dedicated servers), Lamia added, "We do work very hard to reconcile the desire to manipulate and modify those dedicated servers with offering them the persistent experience and benefits that the console system provides ... so people can run dedicated servers and also participate in the communal experience the console players get to have, given they're all on first-party servers."

And with that, it would seem that Treyarch will give us a chance to officially leap through the air while raining an unlimited supply of explosives on the ground below us when the game arrives this November. Hooray?

If you have any interest in Sony's upcoming ModNation Racers, you've probably already read our review (and entered our giveaway). You're familiar, then, with our biggest grief with the early review code: obnoxiously long load times. Apparently we weren't the only ones to notice. According to Chuck Lacson, associate marketing manager at SCEA, developer United Front Games is "looking into further optimizing the game via a post-launch patch."

That should be good news for those already sold on Sony's "Race, Create, Share" motto. The rest of us, though? We'll be able to download a playable demo in the next PSN Tuesday update, May 18. The demo will include one track, playable in both single player and split-screen modes. It will also offer creation tools -- and, best of all, any tracks you create and share in the demo will be available in the full version of the game.
