[Image source: MTV] According to StarCraft forum Team Liquid, 16 South Koreans are being implicated in the StarCraft match-fixing scandal that we heard about earlier this year. The site claims that three brokers, 11 professional StarCraft players and two others (for making bets with insider knowledge) have been indicted thus far. The match-fixing is said to have taken place in December of last year, when brokers corroborated with players to intentionally lose matches.

One of the players named in Team Liquid's report, Moon Sung Jin, has issued a rather grave formal apology via his Cyworld (South Korean social networking service) account. "I am sorry. Due to a hasty mistake, I have disappointed many people. I have nothing to say on this matter, and I do not have any intention of being forgiven," Jin wrote, according to 1UP, adding, "I will be entering military service on the 31st of May, and it seems like I am running away from the truth. I can only say that I will do my best to reflect on my actions and to be discharged as a better, more rational person. I am truly sorry once again."

Reports of the amount each player received varies, from between two to six and a half million won ($2,000 to $6,000) for the calculated losses, which were then allegedly pooled and used to bribe a host of other players.

We've seen Master Chief do some bizarre stuff over the years. He's fallen in love with a Storm Trooper and even taken time off to pursue an acting career. Now he's trying to break into the burgeoning German music scene under the stage name of Michael Wendler, with his first single, "Piloten wie Wir." Somewhere right now, David Hasselhoff is probably crying into a cheeseburger.

But we digress. All of this exposition means nothing until you've actually watched Master Chief take you to the space bar, space bar, space bar. So head past the break and do that. Do that right now.

[Thanks, Nathan]

If you're a supporter of all of Sega's ludological offerings -- not just the ones that include attitude-infused blue rodents -- you'll want to check out the Sega Complete Pack on Steam. For $90, you can grab all of Sega's PC games currently available on the platform; a list that includes Empire: Total War (and all its expansions), Space Siege, The Club, Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing, Aliens vs. Predator and a whole lot more. (Sorry Mac users, but almost all of these games are still only available to the Windows crowd.)

If you're looking for something a bit more cost-efficient, Steam is also offering Aliens vs. Predator alone at half price, for $24.99. But why not chip in the extra $65 and pick up more Total War games than you could ever play in a single lifetime? That seems like a sound economic decision to us.

Activision and Treyarch have released the first full-length trailer for the upcoming Call of Duty: Black Ops. You may remember the initial teaser from a couple weeks back, but this one -- clocking in at a more satisfying 1 minute 42 seconds -- is, as promised by Treyarch community manager Josh Olin last week, "brand-new, 100% gameplay." Watch it in full after the break.

Call of Duty: Black Ops
is set for a November 9, 2010 release. We'll be on-hand for what we can only imagine will be its very flashy playable debut at next month's E3.
