If the image above of FarmVille-themed ice cream wasn't telling enough, Zynga and 7-Eleven today announced a co-branding of various products in "nearly 7,000 7-Eleven stores in the US and Canada." In addition to the vanilla ice cream, Big Gulps and Slurpees featuring YoVille, FarmVille, and Mafia Wars are also available, all coming packed with redeemable codes for in-game items.

We've already received a handful of tips of the ice cream being spotted in 7-Eleven outlets, but the announcement indicates customers should be able to find the products everywhere by June 1, through July 15. The ice cream runs $2.29 per pint, while the Big Gulps and Slurpees range in price depending on the contents -- the shame of purchasing said products, however, that's priceless. We've listed all the in-game items and how to get them in real life below the fold.

Yes.
I really hope they tighten up the controls a little bit.
And maybe make the ISA look a little more cool in multiplayer so people would actually play as them.

The US PlayStation blog has announced that Sparkworkz' Super Stacker is coming to the PSN tomorrow. For $9.99, you can experience Super Stacker's over 100 levels of animated shape-stacking mayhem, putting little grunting pieces with faces together in sturdy (and not-so sturdy) constructions. Or, you could, y'know, play it online for free.

That's not quite fair -- the PSN version comes with updated art, co-op and competitive multiplayer and two new modes of gameplay, including one where you'll be exploding stacked blocks of dynamite. But even if that sounds cool (and it kind of does), go play it free first anyway -- if you get your fill of the levels there, you'll have saved yourself $10.

#humor Short answer: no. The slightly longer answer is no, thanks to developmentally retarded and over-sexualized "mature" video games, brain-dead stories, obsessive nitpicking nerds, and embarrassing entitlement issues. The very long version at Cracked is more amusing than depressing, thankfully. [Cracked] More »

Sony Online Entertainment, in an attempt to capitalize on the madness that stirs men's souls to purchase in-game items with real-life money, recently added three colorful Everquest 2 mounts to the Station Marketplace. For $25, you can purchase one of two versions of the mount: a Fierce Prowler, which improves its rider's combat abilities, or an Arcane Prowler, which boosts spellcasting abilities. You can check out a video of the mounts over on Shacknews.

SOE representatives claim the mounts were added to the storefront due to "player demand," which, if true, means the world has gone entirely bananacakes crazytown. We're going to go buy an economy-sized pallet of water bottles, board up our doors and windows, and go hide in our mattress fort.

If you've been thinking about picking up Black Rock's fresh-out-of-the-garage racer, Split/Second, then you may want to keep Best Buy in mind. A tipster sent in a shot of next week's circular, which highlights the game's $20 savings. On top of the savings, you'll also net three Best Buy-exclusive cars -- not a bad deal, if we may say so.

The sale runs from May 30 until June 5. Click the image above for a shot of the full page ad.

This is your lucky day, agent. Today you get to participate in viral marketing, easily the best kind of marketing in Pacific City. This marketing, as you may have guessed, is for Crackdown 2. You might be wondering why you'd participate in such a thing. After all, you loved the first Crackdown, you've read the hands-on coverage for the sequel, your pre-order money has been set aside and you're just coasting your way to July. The answer is simple: early demo access.

To get started, pick up Microsoft's Tag Reader app for your mobile phone (find it at gettag.mobi). Then, watch this video. At the end you'll see a hidden orb, which you can scan with Tag Reader. If you'd rather not watch the video (again), you can just scan the image to the right. Once scanned, you can register for a contest account, which will provide you with text message clues about the locations of the remaining "orbs." Find them, scan them and you're in.

Orbs for demos, agent. Orbs for demos. Unless you don't have a texting plan, of course.
