W!Games' hex-based, eco-friendly turn-based strategy title Greed Corp isn't going to stay confined to the XBLA and PSN platforms. A press release from the game's aptly-named publisher, The Games Company, has revealed plans to release the game as a retail PC package.

The title will hit store shelves this summer for $19.99 (and €19.99 overseas), and will include "an all new tutorial, improved campaign, simplified mouse controls and better graphics," as well as a few heretofore unannounced improvements over the console versions of the game. We bet it'll change the game board's spaces from hexagons to heptagons. Can you handle the extra corner and side? Psh, we doubt it.

If you've ever found yourself in the proverbial club (perhaps with a bottle full of bub), then you may be familiar with Pentavision's DJ Max -- a Beatmania-like music-rhythm series with some of the most intense gameplay in the genre. Today, PM Studios has announced it will publish DJ Max Portable 3 in the US.

PM Studios promises "more than 50 songs, unique modes, customizable options, and a yet to be announced new feature." The game is set to launch sometime in 2010 on UMD and as a download on PSN.

Blaze a new trail with this pinball game based on the killer racing franchise.

One of the most frustrating things for us players of MAG's most altruistic self-defined class, the Combat Medic, are those times when we make a heroic dash through raging crossfire to reach a downed ally, only to accidentally heal ourselves instead. Even worse: those times when we're knocking on death's door, but accidentally heal an adjacent, barely wounded friendly. It's happened to all of us -- but thanks to the v1.06 patch due out "sometime next month," according to the game's official blog, it will never have to happen again.

The update will map self healing and ally healing to two separate buttons (genius!) and will enact a whole slew of other minor (but oft-requested) changes. For example, you can now no longer accidentally stab members of your PMC. Nor can you purposefully stab them, if you happen to be a team-killing bastard. Gamespot reports that a Namco Bandai representative has informed the site that Splatterhouse is "due for a Halloween release," which is just about as appropriate as release dates get. What would you have preferred? Labor day? Veterans' Day? Those don't make any sense. We suppose a Día de los Muertos release might work, but let's not split hairs, okay? Let's just split zombies. With extreme force.

Halloween actually falls on a Sunday this year, so we're not sure whether the Namco Bandai representative meant on Halloween or shortly before Halloween. We've contacted the developer to try and get a clarification. The new trailer above simply says "fall 2010."
