As you can see from the table of contents, Etrian Odyssey III is coming to the states, and its already gotten a localized name. I bet we hear more on this from Atlus real soon! Thanks to Johnny4 for the heads up!

Soon you will know the true meaning of power -- that is, should you decide to download Star Wars Empire at War, the latest RTS available on Steam. Developed by Petroglyph Games way back in 2006, it takes place during the events leading up to Episode IV. The Gold Pack edition on Steam even includes the Forces of Corruption expansion, which adds a host of new units, heroes and planets, as well as an expanded multiplayer suite. Sorry, Mac owners -- this one's Windows only.
Not a big Star Wars fan? No worries, because Steam is also slashing 50% off the Lucasarts Adventure Pack, a collection of four classic adventure titles: Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis, Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, LOOM and The Dig. All four of these titles are Steam Play compatible and will run on your Mac. You can get 'em for $5, only a little more than a buck a game. That's a pretty damn good deal, if you ask us.
[Thanks, CCC]

Hidden in Atari's fiscal 2009 financial report, there was a tiny but informative nugget on CD Projekt's The Witcher 2. According to the report, the action RPG is "planned" to land on PC in "Spring 2011." The report included no further details, though Atari's fiscal 2010 ends on March 31, so expect the game sometime before then. Also, no mention was made of a console release, though CD Projekt stressed earlier this week that it still plans to bring the game to consoles.

Okay, Two Worlds II isn't subtitled 'Two Harder,' but wouldn't it be glorious if it was? I'd get confused and buy four copies. Check out the debut trailer for SouthPeak's sequel for the Xbox 360, PC, and PlayStation 3. More »
A portion of the WiiLoveIt Review:
Some may lose interest and long for something more entertaining/educational like Big Brain Academy. But parents who are looking for a fun game to play with their kids on Wii will want to give this a try.

Maybe the only way to make the Oakland Raiders' season interesting past the sixth week would be to force them - and every other wretched team - to play for the right to stay in the National Football League. More »
Ubisoft has revealed new information about Tom Clancy's H.A.W.X. 2, which Joystiq got to see in an early build last week at a pre-E3 event. The sequel to the flight combat simulator is expanding its purview to include "all aspects of aerial combat," including takeoffs and landings, recon missions in UAVs, air-to-air refueling and dogfighting missions, and even laser-guiding bombs down to targets.
The game will use satellite imagery to create realistic locations from all over the world, including Moscow, the Arctic Circle and a desert area we got to see in the Persian Gulf. Ubisoft also told Joystiq that the game would offer four-player co-op throughout the whole campaign, as well as "full adversarial multiplayer" with up to eight players involved.
It was also hinted that H.A.W.X. 2 will tie in some of Ubisoft's other Tom Clancy properties, though we weren't yet told how. We'll learn more when we get to play the game (which is due out on Xbox 360, PS3, Wii and PC this fall) in a hands-on at E3.
If you're considering a purchase of Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands on PC, why not get a version that comes with one or two extra games? A pre-ordered copy of the Digital Deluxe Edition, available on Steam, includes a map, a soundtrack, two extra skins, and, most importantly, a free copy of Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time to play while you wait for the June 8 release of Forgotten Sands.
You'll also get a free copy of Sands of Time's sequel, Prince of Persia: Warrior Within. In fact, you'll get that freebie on Steam whether you buy the $60 deluxe version or the $50 regular version. The only reason you may not want to jump on either of these deals is that playing these games right before Forgotten Sands may make the new game seem even more lackluster.
Given that Harmonix already teased the inclusion of a new instrument in Rock Band 3 -- the keyboard -- we almost feel like we've been taken for a ride. That is, if today's report from Ars Technica's mole on the game is correct and the keyboard is actually a keytar. "What?!" you cry. Much like Frankie, we must say, "Relax!" because, well, we're totally on board with the concept. Just think about the possibilities!
The Ars report also alleges the addition of a "Pro" mode "that will require proper technique, and may lead to actual skills on guitar and bass." Perhaps that mode will have some tie to the peripherals, which will apparently all be put assembled by Mad Catz (something hinted at by an announcement earlier this year), with EA supposedly only handling the distribution of game discs.
Regardless, though Ars' mole has been on point in the past with rumors, without confirmation from MTV Games, Harmonix, EA, or Mad Catz (yes, we tried -- only MTV Games responded, saying "We do not comment on rumors or speculation."), this report is still, unfortunately, unconfirmed.

The multiplayer component of Kane & Lynch 2: Dog Days won't simply be a "Fragile Alliance." Oh no -- it'll be flat-out war between "Cops and Robbers," in this team-based mode where up to four heavily armed crooks attempt to make off with four million bucks -- in just four minutes.
Yep, it's the video game equivalent of Heat. Kane & Lynch 2 multiplayer pits cops against robbers

Square Enix's DS remake of Lufia II is headed Stateside from an unexpected publisher -- by which we mean it's not Square Enix. Natsume, who surprised us by picking up Sony's Afrika, announced plans to release the game now called Lufia: Curse of the Sinistrals in North America this fall.
That's good news for gamers in more than one way -- had Square published the game itself, it would have had the customary $39.99 price tag put on Square DS games, while Natsume is only charging $30.
Curse of the Sinistrals takes the original turn-based SNES game, about monster hunter Maxim and his quest to defeat four "Sinistrals" before they destroy the world, and recasts it as an action RPG, with a combo system and the ability to switch characters mid-combo.
