A portion of a CheatCC review…
…even at its discount ($30) price, Attack of the Movies 3D is not a good buy. There are simply too many good action games for this to be a worthwhile investment of money and time. The well-done 3-D effects offer a glimpse into the future, but without a good game [...]

Here's your first look at Killzone 3 in action! Sorry it's not in 3D. And sorry there's no sound. And sorry it looks like it was shot in a strip club. More »
Dragon Quest IX players are greeted with a special message if they check out the wifi shop. The message reads as follows.
“Twenty four years ago on May 27, the Famicom version of Dragon Quest was released.”
24 years of Dragon Quest, and North America still hasn’t caught onto the fun! Perhaps Dragon Quest IX [...]
The other day, we told you guys that Lubba keeps tabs on your Wii’s internal clock, and likes to make comments about how early/late it is, based on when you’re playing. Today, reader Baseballer sends in some other things he noticed Lubba saying, which point to him keeping a close watch on everything you [...]
BioWare's lead designer James Ohlen has done a quick interview with IGN about Star Wars: The Old Republic's concept of "companion characters." Not only do you get to tool around the universe as a Sith or a Jedi, but as we first heard back at the game's announcement, you get to bring some other poor suckers with you. The idea sounds a lot like your party members from Dragon Age or Mass Effect 2 -- your companions will follow an "Affection" system, and you can end up making them "twisted to the dark side of the Force" or "stronger and more independent," depending on how you treat -- even gift -- them. (Those being just a couple of examples.)
Companion characters will also have a lot of combat utility, and you may want to bring some of them based strictly on how they complement you in combat. The gear you equip for them will also make a difference, so you may have to tailor your party and their gear for the specific goals of any given mission. The system doesn't sound too different from past BioWare games, with the caveat that, since it's an MMO, you'll have to direct AI players in real-time rather than pausing the game to give out orders. Ohlen also says his favorite recent character is Alistair, which worries us a little bit -- he always struck us as whiny.

Sadists, sit up. We've got another Naughty Bear video now, which highlights how our cotton-filled curmudgeon likes to handle would-be boaters. It's odd, because this is perhaps the tamest video we've seen for A2M's game yet. If you're going to kill a guy on a boat, wouldn't you get a bit more creative? You've got a rotor and rope to work with -- heck, you could even blow the whole thing up and watch your prey burn to death.
You know what? We should probably stop posting so many Naughty Bear videos. It's beginning to ... affect us.

According to a list of Achievements unearthed by Xbox 360 Achievements, it looks like the upcoming Earthworm Jim HD will feature some form of multiplayer. There are two Achievements for multiplayer, one awarded for being "'No. 1' in each Xbox Live multiplayer level" and another for completing all multiplayer levels. It's hard to imagine how multiplayer would work, though GamerBytes offers up the possibility of speed run competitions or a multiplyaer variant of the snot bungee mini-game.
We'd also suggest that the space races between levels could work as well. Also, given the title of the second Achievement is "World Partnership," the multiplayer could be cooperative in nature.
There was a time when Nintendo wasn’t sure that the DS would succeed. They were presenting the portable platform as a ‘third pillar’. It would stand alongside the Game Boy and GameCube. Obviously, things are a little bit different now. When you end up making a platform that is on its [...]
Ummm…things aren’t looking too good. The biggest game-to-movie adaptation yet isn’t pulling in very good reviews. There are some highs and lows, but as you can see, the average is less than…average. Hit up the link below to check out what all the critics have said thus far.
Looks like both Wii and DS got the special treatment this time. DS version offers mic chat in the lobby, and the Wii version supports WiiSpeak. As far as I know, the voice chat is going to be friends only.
