If you think Red Dead Redemption's desolate landscape is best explored and conquered with a band of gun-toting ne'er-do-wells at your side, you'll be pleased to note that the free Outlaws to the End DLC pack has roped in an official release date: June 22. It'll toss six online co-op missions (for two to four players) into the sandbox and take your posse uphill, downstream and in-between several shootouts.
You'll need a PSN account or an Xbox Live Gold Membership to partake, of course, but we're assuming most of you have access to such wonderful luxuries. Spare a thought for life in the olden West, where folks had to get by with just 28.8k modems and AOL keywords.

This is a very useful tool for those of you that are out monster hunting. Sure, some may consider it a bit like cheating, but just consider it this way. This information has been pooled together by people that have been playing the hell out of Monster Hunter 3. They may have [...]
Now this is an interesting article. In the piece linked below, we get to see how game music can pretty much ignore all rules of music that exist, in order to create a certain type of feeling or atmosphere for the player. The track from Twilight Princess posted above is a perfect example [...]

A portion of a RoboAwesome review…
In the end, Activision missed the ball with what could have been a stellar action title in Shrek Forever After. Simple adjustments to the gameplay could have really increased the quality of the title – that being giving the puzzles more challenge and adding depth to the game’s combat. Shrek [...]
Again, I don’t know anything about the TV show LOST, so I’m not one to judge if this comparison is any good. I’m sure a few of you guys are LOST fans, so you’ll be able to fill me in. Are there really comparisons worth drawing between the game series and TV show, [...]
It's Contra in all but name. That's what IGN asserts about Hard Corps: Uprising, a new PSN and XBLA run-and-gun expected for release this year. Despite the fact that the side-scrolling shooting gameplay we expect from a traditional Contra is present, and despite the fact that this is actually a sequel to the Genesis Contra: Hard Corps (starring the villain!), Konami has chosen to excise the series name from this digital release.
That's not the strangest thing about this game. Development is being handled by Arc System Works, the developer and publisher of the Guilty Gear games and BlazBlue. We'll withhold judgment; after all, it turned out okay when Konami handed the license to the Ping Pals developer. At least with Arc (like with WayForward), we know we're in for great 2D art.

And just like that, the third of the four universes in Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions has been revealed by All Games Beta. If the headline and the image haven't given it away already, it's Spider-Man 2099, which will now join the Amazing and Noir Spider-Man universes. Fun fact: Spidey 2099 shoots his web from the top of his wrists. Weird.
Though it doesn't feature any 2099-ness, you can find a new trailer featuring the villains of Shattered Dimensions after the break.
"Oh, what's up, Mitch? Check it out, I found a place on the 360 Dashboard where you can get the Resurgence Pack for $4!"
"Wow, that's a pretty great deal!"
"Yeah, the only catch is they're only releasing one pair of maps per week for $0.99 a piece."
"...But that equals eight maps. I thought they were only adding five maps to Modern Warfare 2."
"Well, the other only catch is that they don't work with Modern Warfare 2, because they're actually maps for Defense Grid that just happen to -- purely by coincidence, I'm sure -- be called the Resurgence packs."
A new video for Disney Guilty Party offers some insight from Wideload Games staff about the flow of gameplay in the mystery-solving title. It also includes footage of several of the activities, including fingerprint analysis, lockpicking, and ... suspect tickling ... as well as a bit of information about some of the personalities involved, including our first look at the villainous Mr. Valentine.
It also serves as the vehicle for an announcement of a delay. Along with this trailer, Disney revealed that the release date has been bumped from July 27 to August 31, where it "now kicks off the holiday season on August 31st, 2010." We've also got our first mystery to solve: finding the person who moved the holiday season to August.
Cory Godbey has graced GoNintendo with some truly amazing content. His ‘bit and run’ comic series was some of the best stuff we’ve ever had the pleasure of featuring on the site. The first part of the ‘bit and run’ series culminated with a mind-blowing animated feature called ‘Mario’s Ladder’. I still [...]
