This is going to be available from the e-Capcom store next month, but only in Japan. The game is certainly coming our way, so perhaps there’s a shot of the towel seeing a stateside release as well. If you can’t wait long for that possibility, just keep an eye on import retailers. [...]

C.H.A.D. is the work 2 boss for Super Meat Boy, and he doesn’t look like he’s going down without one hell of a fight. C.H.A.D. will be strutting his stuff at E3, and you can be sure we’ll go a round or two with the guy. Hopefully we’ll come out alive!

Ever since we saw part one of this ‘Making of Jet Force Gemini’ feature, I’ve been thinking more and more about how I should get the title for my N64, and give it another shot. Perhaps the game will do more to entice me now, since it didn’t tickle my fancy then. I’ve [...]

That’s a pretty cool Star Wars-related cover for GamePro’s special Summer issue. I think most game mags have covers that are quite forgettable, save a few issues. At least this special GamePro issue does some interesting things with color to stand out from the crowd.

Hmmmm…I wonder what this one is all about. Obviously I have no idea, as it’s just a name. Sounds like it could be related to some image-shifting gameplay. Perhaps its another camera-shifting game like Looksley’s Line-Up. Either that, or perhaps its something 3DS related! Thanks to Cypher for the heads [...]

Tetsuya Nomura has decided to spill the beans on the secret Kingdom Hearts titles that he’s working on. He hasn’t given the details just yet, but it looks like the information is going to come out at E3. No word on what platforms they’re going to land on, but some of the discussion [...]

#photoshop Alright, I promised a more accessible 'Shop Contest challenge this week, and though this one is also automotive in theme, it should lend itself more to one-off wisecracks and dry humor than last week's NASCAR idea. More »

Based on what we know of the studio's previous offerings, we imagine that somewhere at Platinum Games HQ, there's a keyboard with just five buttons, labeled "Explosion," "Laser," "Ninja Flip," "Giant Robot" and "Overly Dramatic Dialogue." In the case of the most recent trailer for Vanquish, we're pretty sure some Platinum designer, made weary from a long day of toil, fell asleep on said keyboard, filling the trailer with dangerous amounts of these five crucial elements.

You can check out the first look at Vanquish's preposterously fast-paced gunplay just past the jump, though your poor little eyes might have a hard time keeping track of everything. We suggest not questioning where all these bullets are coming from -- just turn your brain off for 101 seconds, and enjoy.

It slices! It dices! It reduces your enemies to unrecognizable blobs of primordial goop! And now, thanks to the latest trailer for Raven and Activision's temporally unstable shooter Singularity, another feature of the handy Time Manipulation Device has been revealed: It grants the user complete control over the forces of gravity. It's official: This is the raddest glove ever.

Check out the trailer above, and see some of the practical applications this feature has on the battlefield. We wonder what other T.M.D capabilities will be revealed in future trailers before the game launches on June 29. (For the record, our money's on a built-in stainless steel panini press.)

We've seen the Left 4 Dead SDK be used to create some truly impressive, zombie-infested levels, but this one might just take the cake. Three modders recently published a full-length, five-chapter campaign for Valve's original Zombocalypse survival sim, titled "I Hate Mountains" -- a quote from the game's lovable, vested contrarian, Francis.

The campaign, which took over one year to develop, takes players through a number of eerie, lovingly crafted environments, such as a lumber yard and a (likely structurally unsound) mansion. You can check out a trailer for I Hate Mountains after the jump, or download it from the mod's official website.
