Weird Science That’s odd…I was just thinking about Weird Science the other day. I wasn’t thinking about it being turned into a game…just contemplating how good the movie is. I’m not sure how it would translate into a game, but I don’t think any devs are going to try! 8 more classic Universal movies that [...]

Dell has marked down Super Mario Galaxy 2 to $35. For a high-profile game just released weeks ago, that's a pittance -- less than a pittance. If you gave Dell a pittance, you'd get a trifle back as change. It's a good deal, is what we're saying, for a game that is "the best Mario game ever."

In fact, at this point, the only valid excuse for not trying out Galaxy 2 is, well, motion sickness. If you're prone to that particular ailment, the game's less magical and more the worst experience of your life.

We'd originally planned to tease out today's update over the course of 19 deviously brain-twisting blog posts, each containing a mercurially complex riddle hinting at the nature of the update. Unfortunately, everybody seems to have cracked the subtle rhyming codex embedded in our first blog post, which was actually supposed to be the most unsolvable of the 19.

So anyway. Team Fortress 2's available on the Mac now.

If you've never experienced the impossible magic of JellyCar, the XNA and iPhone platforming sensation, then you might not get as excited as we are about these two recent ESRB listings for JellyCar 2. The ratings board recently slapped an E (as in, for Everyone) on the sequel, which is apparently expanding from its current home on the App Store to the WiiWare and DSiWare platforms in the near future.

On one hand, we're excited about the proliferation of the JellyCar franchise in any way, shape or form. On the other hand, we're still pretty upset that Disney didn't take our suggestion for the game's title, which was, of course, JellyCar 2: 2 Fast, 2 Gelatinous. We'll feign indignance, but we anticipate we'll purchase at least one of these new versions of the game once they hit their respective platforms.

Hi everybody! It’s John Day from Avalanche Software, the developer behind the upcoming Toy Story 3 video game. The game comes out in less than a week, and we can’t wait for you all to get your hands on it. Developing this game was an extraordinary experience and a whole lot of fun. Working closely with Pixar and in the Toy Story universe was an exciting opportunity, and we could not be happier with how the game turned out.

Back in April, we announced here that you can play as Buzz Lightyear’s arch-nemesis Zurg only on the PlayStation 3. Despite being in Toy Story 2 for only a few minutes, he is our favorite character — we’re excited to have him in the game for you to experience and enjoy! And today I wanted to share some more details on what you can expect when you pop in your PS3 copy of Toy Story 3: The Video Game and unlock the evil Emperor Zurg.

Zurg is quite a bit different from our other playable characters, which allowed us to create some fun things to do specifically as Zurg in Toy Box Mode. He’s the only character with a cannon, and his move set is completely different from our other playable characters. He has many of his own missions, and he even has his own vehicle — the Zurgmobile — complete with hood-mounted cannon. My favorite Zurg pastime is just running around the Toy Box and blasting the townspeople. His evil laugh is great too…MUAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

Check out our new video (above) on how playable Zurg came together for the PS3. Then, play as Zurg yourself when the game releases on June 15th.
