Hi Everyone!

All of us on the DCUO team are extremely excited to provide the PlayStation.Blog community with the world premier of the DC Universe Online official E3 trailer.

The team has been hard at work gearing up for E3, and as you’ll see in this trailer composed entirely of actually game play footage. The moment you step into the world of DC Universe Online, you will experience high paced action and physics unlike anything ever seen before, and this trailer is just a taste of what lies ahead for you! Our goal at Sony Online Entertainment in Austin is to combine a fast paced action combat experience that console gamers expect with a huge online world supporting thousands of players. Our saying around the office is “Prove Thru Play,” and we can’t wait to get people in front of the game at E3 this week to take it for a test drive and experience for themselves exactly what we mean.

This trailer also shows the tremendous influence Jim Lee has brought to the table working as the Executive Creative Director on this title – his edgy take on the DC Universe has been transformed from the traditional 2D comic book medium into an immersive 3D interactive environment where you become the next legend! Between now and our release in November, stay tuned for tons of exciting releases from the team – we can’t wait to show you what is up our sleeves!

If you want a slight idea of what the Kinect Star Wars game looked like at last night's "Project Natal Experience," take a look at the video after the break. What you're missing is the opening that showed some Force powers (with the player pulling a door open) and some lightsaber slashing. The television premiere of the Project Natal Experience will be on Tuesday, June 15, at 3:30PM on MTV and at 9PM on Nick at Nite, MTVu, MTV Hits, and Logo.

Remember that yoga game we saw at last night's madness-infused Kinect event? As it turns out, it's actually an Ubisoft-developed game entitled Your Shape. Microsoft featured the game during it's second pre-E3 event this morning, showing off a trailer with flying people and "Nick, the cardio coach" (spoilers: he's a looker, ladies). The trailer also promises that it will evolve fitness, though we're not totally sure how that's gonna happen. Also, like everything featured in today's presser, the game is exclusive to the Xbox 360.

Video game fans love putting footage on YouTube, remixing gameplay with the sounds of Linkin Park and/or Eminem. Activision has outdone the fans, making their own official Call of Duty: Black Ops E3 trailer, featuring Eminem's "Won't Back Down." Much of the footage has been seen before, but you'll see a few frames of brand new footage of Treyarch's latest.

During Microsoft's E3 keynote the company revealed Video Kinect, formerly referred to as "video chat" at last night's Natal Experience, which will allow users of the all-seeing tracking device to watch movies (and other things) together across the internet. We're sure this program could be used for seedier purposes ... but we'll wait for the mainstream media to write up those stories.

In previous E3 conferences, Microsoft announced partnerships with Netflix, Last.fm, Facebook and Twitter as non-gaming enhancements to the Xbox Live "experience." This year, Xbox Live users can expect 3500 events live and in demand from ESPN in an "exclusive partnership." Content mentioned included NBA, MLB, college football, college basketball, soccer and Sports Center. However, there was no mention of NFL or NHL.

With Kinect, connected viewers are able to vote on which teams fans think can win. There will be stats and live tickers, and you'll be able to switch between games nearly instantaneously. Impressively, this service will be free for Xbox Live Gold members, undoubtedly making it one most valuable additions to the Live service.

It appears that Kinect will be getting its own version of the Xbox Dashboard (seen above), enabling both gesture-based and voice-activated commands on the Xbox 360. From what we're seeing in this morning, the new sub-dashboard will allow the waving of hands and ... uh ... speaking of words to control everything from Netflix to Last.fm to Facebook (and even SkyTV for our friends in the UK). Presumably it'll be arriving alongside Kinect this November.
