What better way to enjoy some outdoor camping action than with a projector and a Wii? That’s exactly what reader Anotherdae did, and it looks like he had a blast!
The Microsoft Store's official Twitter account is inviting folks to try Kinect at its stores "nationwide," which sounds a lot more impressive before the realization hits that there are only four locations in the entire country. The MS Twitter account also notes that Kinectimals will be shown off this weekend.
Anyway, if you live near one of the four stores found in the western part of the continent, go check out the new tech that'll be available this November. If you don't live close to a store, save that gas money until we get an idea of how much Kinect will actually cost.

Earlier this month, Ubisoft assured fans that Beyond Good & Evil creator Michel Ancel was still with the company, and still toiling away at the sequel to the beloved action adventure game. Ancel himself emerged at the Montpellier in Game conference, detailing the development a bit.
Ancel told attendees that he's working on a 3D version of the toolkit being used to make Rayman Origins. "It takes a bit longer," he said, "but we're very keen to use this system with this game, because it's an ambitious game and we want to create something exceptional."
Another factor that is stretching out development time: "On this game, we're keeping the team small," he said, "to preserve creativity and so the game doesn't become a commercial product, so that it has soul." This also has the added benefit of keeping the budget low, limiting the chance that Ubisoft will cancel it. Unfortunately, it also limits the chance that Ubisoft execs will know it exists.
This is what you’ve done to us, Nintendo. To get the 3d effect that the 3DS provides, you have to be in person. Either that, or you could look at these mock-ups with your eyes crossed. Yeah, it’s not going to be anywhere near what the real effect is, but it’s better [...]

I can’t really recommend this on the basis that it’s a “been there, done that” game, but if you liked either of the previously mentioned titles, XG Blast! is probably worth the twenty bucks.

…that’s the genius of these games. In the past I’ve always been cautious with my praise for the LEGO titles, because as fun and as charming as they were, I always felt they could be something more: that there was some as-yet unreached plateau where the great ideas would coalesce [...]
