Level-5 CEO Akihiro Hino has just confirmed that the Inazuma Eleven series is coming over to Wii. This is something that we’ve all suspected for quite some time now, as there was talk of a console version for over a year. With the series running strong on the DS, it would only make [...]

Amazon's current Deal of the Day is on Bizarre Creations' grown-up kart racer, Blur, which is temporarily available for $29.99 on PS3 and 360, and $19.99 on PC. We suggest spending the extra $30 you save on this transaction on a few sessions with a grief counselor -- you'll need it after the tenth time you get Shunted one centimeter from the finish line.

The Joystiq Podcast wasn't the only regular feature that we were to slammed to produce last week -- the rigors of E3 2010 also prevented us from doing the Weekly Webcomic Wrapup. As such, we've decided to include our favorite comics from the past two weeks this time around. We're sure you won't mind; as busy as we were writing the news last week, we're sure you were equally busy consuming it.

Below you'll find our seven favorite comics from the past fourteen days. Give them all a once-over, and vote for your favorite in the poll posted after the jump!

Though Konami's co-op vamp-slayer, Castlevania: Harmony of Despair is now being touted as a proud participant in the Xbox Live Summer of Arcade promotion, a PSN version of the title may not be out of the question. In an E3 interview with Destructoid, producer Koji Igarashi explained "there might be a possibility with that. I hope this one sells, and then we can think about PSN."

So, there you have it, PS3 fans. If you want the best chance of getting Harmony of Despair on your platform of choice, all you have to do is first buy it on XBLA. Easy enough, right?

Sega recently announced a surprising feature for the Virtua Fighter 5: Final Showdown arcade installations which will soon populate Japanese arcades. According to Versus City's translation of the announcement, players will be able to link their VF.net profiles to their Twitter accounts, which will allow the Final Showdown machines to automatically Tweet their accomplishments. Players will also be able to search for their recent adversaries on VF.net, and begin following their linked Twitter account.

The game's director, Daiichi Katagiri, gave a few examples of updates which the machine will generate, including "DK's Lau has put together a 10 game win streak at Club Sega Shinjuku #VF5FS" and "DK's Lau has earned the "Dragon Wing" item from a Basic Capsule (Rare) #VF5FS." We think this feature could really turn the American arcade industry around, though we're not crazy about the idea of broadcasting messages such as "I just sprained my ankle and humiliated myself in public again #DDRSuperNova2."

The latest trailer for Crysis 2 takes us through the area demoed during EA's E3 press conference. Sure, it looks just as slick as it did last week, but we're confused by the area's "Safe Zone" label. Between the giant killer robots, the average-sized killer robots and toppling MetLife building, we fail to see said zone's inherent safety.
