Well, it seems alleged Breach code thief Justin May might have been getting a sneakier peek than even he knew. Atomic has just announced that its XBLA shooter won't arrive this summer as previously announced, but rather in January of 2011. Though Atomic says the game is finished now, the company missed Breach's originally slated June date and the XBLA schedule was apparently just too full to slip it in any sooner than January.

In the interim, the developer will be adding a "Hardcore" mode, which is apparently lifted from more realistic versions of the game that outside organizations commissioned for training purposes.

Well, you're welcome, Jack Thompson.

Assassinating months of speculation, Activision has finally announced its new James Bond game, helmed by Project Gotham Racing and Blur developer Bizarre Creations. Featuring an original story by Bruce Feirstein (who penned the screenplay for GoldenEye and the script for 2003's Bond game, Everything or Nothing), James Bond 007: Blood Stone features a mix of third-person cover-based shooting, hand-to-hand combat and "adrenaline-fuelled driving sequences" on land and sea -- and air, if there are enough exploding ramps.

Daniel Craig will reprise his role as suave spy guy (it's not like they need him for a movie anymore) alongside Judi Dench, who once again plays stern boss lady "M." Grammy award-winning singer Joss Stone will be playing Blood Stone's obligatory gun-toting temptress, presumably because Oliver Stone couldn't quite pull off the evening gowns. Stone -- that's Joss -- will also provide the game's original theme song, "I'll Take it All" with the aid of Dave Stewart from the Eurythmics.

Bizarre's James Bond 007: Blood Stone is set to launch on PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 this holiday season. N-Space is developing a DS version for the same time frame.

Despite having a significantly larger install base than any other console, Nintendo's Wii software sales have apparently already peaked and are starting to drop off. That's according to an analysis done by Gamasutra, which compared the growth patterns of the last six major consoles and found that the Wii is peaking far earlier than any of the others.

This past May, Wii software sales were down 29 percent year-over-year and, for the whole of 2010, the Wii may only sell two games per console. For a system in its fourth year, that's an "unprecedented" rate of decline, according to analyst Michael Pachter.

These are still just estimates, and if Wii's software sales turn around -- perhaps because of multiple big releases later this year -- it's possible that the numbers could hold steady at this rate for a few more years, rather than dropping off further. But, at the current rate, it looks like the Wii is destined to be the candle that burns brightest, but goes out fastest.

For us, the fact that any game includes a real working Nerf gun will at least raise an eyebrow, but for some consumers, it's simply not enough. We won't pretend we understand these folks, but even the inclusion of a real Nerf gun with Nerf N-Strike couldn't sway them. Well, how about a Nerf gun and two games?

The Nerf N-Strike Double Blast bundle, which EA hopes to launch this October, will come packed with the Switch Shot EX-3 blaster and Red Reveal decoder you see above, along with a copy of Nerf N-Strike and its sequel, Nerf N-Strike Elite. There's no word on price right now, but EA's Chip Lange said it would be "a very attractive price point."

[Star Raiders Tribute Page] It would appear that Haunted House marked the beginning of a new series of revamped Atari classics. Siliconera spotted GameFly listings for PS3 and Xbox 360 games called "Star Raiders" and "Centipede."

Centipede
, of course, is one of the most well-known early arcade games, featuring a trackball-controlled avatar firing lasers at on-screen centipedes and mushrooms. Star Raiders isn't as well known. It's a first-person, Star Trek-style space exploration and combat simulator released on various Atari computers -- as well as on Atari 2600, where it used the "Video Touch Pad" controller.

The fact that these are on Gamefly suggests that they're retail releases -- since Gamefly doesn't rent downloadable games.

I'M WORKING FOR JACK NOIR AND HIS STEAM GROUP NOW IF YOU WANT THE SERVER BACK YOU BETTER COME UP WITH A DAMN GOOD REASON

Download Custom Maps

PLEASE READ

Update for 7/12/10:

So as you may have noticed our server is going through some changes.

First off, as promised it is now public. This means random jerk offs can now join our server. If you encounter any problems with these people please alert me and I will do my best to deal with the issue. If it becomes too much of a problem I'll consider instituting some moderators, but for now that seems highly unnecessary.

You may also notice that all the maps in normal rotation are now now official maps sanctioned by Valve that come with TF2. I have done this for two reasons. For one it makes it far easier for everyone to get in; secondly they are usually enjoyable to actually play on and don't rely on gimmicks, however fun those gimmicks may be. The custom maps are still in our map list however, and they are easily accessible should we wish to use them.

I have also removed most of the gore mods because they were just kind of stupid and pointless. I have kept the Pre-game Mayhem, Bonusround Respawn, and Melee Sudden Death mods up because they don't effect gameplay for the most part and keep the server still a bit more loose than your standard straight tie bullshit servers. Also no one wants to play Sudden Death, so all the better.

Basically I'm taking steps to make the server more appealing overall, but also making it more appealing to regular TF2 players who don't yet visit Digibutter as well. I think this is an excellent opportunity to expand our community while simultaneously strengthening our current one.

That being said, the servers have been quite dead recently and I am taking these measures in an attempt to liven them up. If necessary I am more than willing to expand the server cap, but only if we are able to keep this 16 man server fairly active.

Let me make that abundantly clear.

This servers existence lives and dies by what happens this month. If it keeps a steady rate of activity, it stays; if it is mostly dead the entire month, it goes.

I am currently funding this server completely out of my pocket, and as much as I enjoy playing TF2 with you guys, at a point it seems like it would be stupid to continue funding an inactive server. I did this for the members of Digibutter to use as they please, so if you have any suggestions that would keep you coming back make sure to voice them.

P.S.: I'm always looking for more maps, but if you want something in please link it, especially if it is obscure. It saves me a lot of time that could go towards making the server more bad ass.

P.S.S.: I am also working on SaySounds this week so expect to be able to spam *crag*ing stupid one liners very shortly.

Current Plugins:

Melee Sudden Death

Pre-Game Mayhem

Bonusround Respawn

Rock the Vote (Comes with Sourcemod so ask someone how it works)

P.S.: I set the vote limit to 0 for rock the vote while I'm gone. Please don't abuse it.

Current Maps in Rotation:

ctf_doublecross

pl_upward

cp_fastlane

cp_freight_final

koth_nucleus

plr_hightower

cp_dustbowl

cp_steel

ctf_turbine

plr_pipeline

cp_coldfront

koth_harvest_event

pl_thundermountain

Maps on List but not in Rotation:

ctf_convoy

pl_donkeykong_final

koth_always_b2

koth_harvest_event

dm_blockfort

wacky_races_v2

koth_pacman_wtf_b2

Gold Prognosticus

For some reason the server won't let me download the maps.

Fallen Shade
Is it still public or am I going to have to bother a shitload of people to get into his shitty group?

Just when the fish thought they were out, you reel 'em right back in. It's the timeless story of a great struggle between man and fish, one species determined to not nibble on random bits of food hanging on hooks underwater, the other determined to eat tasty aquatic life. And Activision is looking to train the latest generation on water wranglin' through Rapala Pro Bass Fishing this fall.

Launching on the Xbox 360, PS3, PS2, PSP, Wii and DS, Rapala Pro Bass Fishing will feature 20 different events and "an unequaled assortment of licensed boats, rods, lures, and apparel." The Xbox 360 and PS3 versions will also support a new custom wireless controller, with the Wii version using a custom controller shell. Check out our gallery below for some screens.
