To celebrate its swiftly-approaching tenth anniversary, Rockstar Games will compile all of the visual elements that have gone into designing its catalog of games into a three-book set sometime next month. The pages therein will contain everything from conceptual illustrations, models and wireframes to advertisements and box art. This beefy, aesthetically pleasing package comes with an asking price of $450.
As attractive as these tomes would look propped against one another on our coffee table, we find it difficult to reconcile the fact that we could spend the same amount of money on a PS3 or 360 and copies of Red Dead Redemption, Grand Theft Auto IV and Episodes from Liberty City. Heck, we'd even have enough cash left over for one of those novelty-sized party subs, which would increase our enjoyment of the aforementioned items tenfold.

A portion of a Nintendo Life review…
Looking past the questionable control option and simplistic gameplay is easy, however, considering that there might not be another WiiWare game with such a great mixture of cute, colourful visuals and engaging gameplay fundamentals. Is it worth 800 points? If puzzle games float your boat, definitely.
Anxious to envelop yourself in your Maserati's splendor and hit some hairpin turns at 100mph? Well, you can do that later. Now we want to tell you about this video game.

I don’t think Mario would be all that put-off if he lost his job. I guess we’re saying that plumbing is his real job? He hasn’t done any of that in years, so he should be just fine without it! If we’re saying that princess-rescuing is his full-time profession, than I could [...]
Looks like you might be able to get your copy of Arc Rise Fantasia a tad early. Give your local GameStop a call and see if your copy is in-stock! It may not be weeks early, but one day is better than nothing!

The oft-surfacing rumor of Activision's intent to incorporate a pay-to-play plan for the multiplayer portions of its Call of Duty franchise sprung up once again yesterday, when a player reportedly captured video of a hidden Marketplace item titled "Modern Warfare 2 Membership." The buzz was quickly quieted by a Tweet from Infinity Ward's Robert Bowling, who stated, "nobody has to pay to play COD or MW2 multiplayer, nor will they."
A more thorough report on the subject of Modern Warfare subscriptions came from Activision's Dan Amrich, who explained, "This video shows just a glitch," further explaining, "since you can access a Live subscription renewal from within the MW2 game interface, it appears some data got jammed between two parts of Live." See, we always said some poor menu would fall into those cracks on the surface of Xbox Live Marketplace. Now we've gotta get it out. Denny! Denny, fire up the backhoe.
This isn’t just an homage to Super Mario Bros. This has the same level design, enemy placement and more. I wonder if Nintendo can get involved and take this one off sale. Thanks to Fraz for the heads up!
