Also I love how Zing has a 50/50 chance of revival yet it still manages to not work after using it at least 8 times.

Disney is going all-out on the promotion of Tron: Legacy, which means that the film will have a rather big presence at Comic-Con. The biggest piece has to be the revival of Flynn’s Arcade, which fans of the original film are very familiar with. I wonder if you can play the new Tron [...]

Konami has released the first screenshots of Karaoke Revolution Glee. They're about how you'd expect, comprised of footage from the show and a lyric track. The best part about the game, of course, is that you won't have to wait to sing along with the show every week. What? You don't do that? Oh, well neither do we.

If you've still got that glow from finishing the last installment of the book series upon which it's based, you're probably in the perfect place to check out the Comic-Con trailer for Scott Pilgrim vs. The World. Heck, even without all that book-learnin', you should still probably give it a glimpse.

Being a giant, beloved video game site has its downsides. For example, we sometimes neglect to give independent developers our coverage love (or loverage, if you will) as we get caught up in AAA, AAAA or the rare quintuple-A titles. To remedy that, we're giving indies the chance to create their own loverage and sell you, the fans, on their studios and products. This week we talk with William Sworin about how his kart racer Silas is testing even his own skills.
How did you get started in game design?
I was around 11 years old when I first started programming 2D games. I was using an old program that made these top-down 2D RPGs. This was in the late 90s. After a few months of creating these really ugly tiles and sprites in Paint, I soon decided I wanted to work on 3D games. I played around with some different engines, and soon enough I was programming and making art hours a night. Some years later, the thirst then began to consume me and ordered me to make a game. So, I willingly gave in. While still in high school, I started the company, and started laying the foundation for Silas. It was a crazy idea at the time, and still is, but its all part of accepting risk and believing in your product!

Turbine has announced that the free-to-play version of its die-casting MMO, Dungeons & Dragons Online: Eberron Unlimited, will launch in Europe on August 20. Turbine will take the reins from Codemasters Online for its European operations, and explained to Eurogamer that the two parties are working together "to facilitate a smooth transition" to its globally-oriented business model.

Potential players will be able to download the game client and play for free through DDO's official website. Players living in the UK who have been playing on U.S. servers will be able to transfer their characters to local servers shortly after the game launches. German and French-language servers are expected to enter beta later this year. Rôle d'initiative!
