How is it possible to make a harlequin seem tough? The right combination of rock music, self-assured strutting, parkour, and stabbity, according to this trailer for Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood's multiplayer mode. We thought it was odd that the Harlequin character featured so heavily in this video, since it's a GameStop pre-order exclusive -- and then the GameStop ad kicked in at the end. Oh.
Promotional consideration aside, the trailer is a very stylish look at the game's multiplayer, which tasks players with spotting assassination targets (other players) in crowds and then successfully ending them using each character's unique abilities. There are also new character renders and a few new screens, which you can find by sneaking up on our gallery very quietly.

Let's get hyped up for inFamous 2, with a look at the gorgeous 2D comic book style cut-scenes that tell the story of Cole McGrath's little trip to New Marais. More »
Though our brief time with inFamous 2 at E3 last month was both savory and delicious, we were perplexed by protagonist Cole McGrath's apparent new super power: The ability to, well, shift his shape. The raven-haired, tattooed punk who we zapped around the city with didn't resemble the balding bike messenger we came to know and love from the original inFamous. Now IGN reports that Cole's style is changing yet again -- this time, though, he'll closer resemble his old, less hirsute self.
Developer Sucker Punch reportedly informed IGN of the changes with a pair of concept renders which the site wasn't at liberty to describe. We've contacted the developer as well, and hope they'll be able to confirm our suspicion that Cole has doffed his jacket because it's so super hot in Fake New Orleans.
Activision has announced that Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions will play host to a cavalcade of Spidey-related voice talent. The Spider-Men of each universe will be voiced by actors who have played the web-slinger in the past. Neil Patrick Harris, Josh Keaton, Christopher Daniel Barnes and Dan Gilvezan will voice the Amazing, Ultimate, Noir and 2099 variants, respectively. Harris originally voiced the wall-crawler in Spider-Man: The New Animated Series, Keaton had the role in The Spectacular Spider-Man, Barnes played the part in the 1994 Spider-Man animated series and, finally, Gilvezan voiced ol' web-head in Spider-Man and His Amazing Friendsway back in the early 1980s.
If that's still not enough for the true believers out there, Stan Lee himself will serve as the game's narrator. Meanwhile, Jim Dooley, composer for several games and films (The Da Vinci Code, inFamous), will provide the soundtrack. Now, if only someone at Beenox could find a way to squeeze in Bruce Campbell ...
