Hello, PlayStation World! I’m back to share our most exciting news of the year. We’re thrilled to let you know about our upcoming PlayStation Network exclusive, TerRover. We’ve been working hard on this one for a while, and we’re eager to let you get your hands on it and discover the engaging gameplay for yourselves.

You can do just that with the free demo of TerRover available with both versions of Qore tomorrow. Plus, you can watch the (hopefully not-embarrassing) interview with me at E3, chatting it up with Veronica about why the game is so much fun.

The TerRover is a cute little robot buggy with a big smile and warm heart in need of your help to find a new planetary home for him and his friends. The TerRover’s controls aren’t quite like anything else out there. His head slides back and forth across his body as you change direction. One button press places his head under his body to turn him over. And most importantly, the left stick lets you pivot your TerRover up and down from either end. You’ll need to master this skill in order to save the TerRover population!

You get weapons and tools, too. Choose from various chassis equipped with rocket launchers, magnet cables and more. They’ll come in handy in tight spots, and assist in collecting all the mechanical parts scattered about and discovering the numerous secret areas and hidden passages. You’ll find yourself aching to come back and explore every inch of every level.

We’re very eager here at Creat Studios to find out what you all think of our newest game. Sony Online Entertainment has been incredibly supportive, and they’ve helped us make the best game we can. As always… a big, big thank you to all of our fans out there. We simply could not what we love without you. Please drop by our website, check us out on Facebook, or follow us on Twitter, as we want to know what you think.

Barry Steakfries, the deliciously-named hero of Halfbrick's PSP Mini Age of Zombies, is back in a new iPhone adventure. Monster Dash doesn't stray too far from Barry's skillset: instead of blasting zombies attacking him from all directions, Barry now runs endlessly forward, blasting every monster in his way across several different monster-themed landscapes. "Blast your enemies with the one shot Pacifier," according to the press release, "electro-charge your way to victory with Mr. Zappy, and look out for the ultimate in raining destruction - the Machine Gun Jetpack!"

Monster Dash will barrel into the App Store on August 19. At that point, we'll see if Barry's personality (and anti-monster violence) will be enough to propel Monster Dash into the same kind of success seen by Halfbrick's last iPhone game, Fruit Ninja. Check out a (live-action!) trailer after the break.

Pokémon This Pokémon is called Wakoishi (ワコイシ). No further details are known, although it is possible that this image is a fake. There has been no mention of this Pokemon in any of the previous reports so we’re very skeptical. We’ll let you know as soon as possible Vaporeon gets the Hydration ability if you get it [...]

Just like its older brother Killzone 2, it appears that upcoming Guerrilla Games FPS Killzone 3 will be getting a beta in some form. A recently launched site with the URL "http://beta.killzone.com/kz3/beta-login.html" and a gated login (that's apparently not allowing anyone in as of right now) certainly seems to imply as much. Adding to the possibility is the fact that the Killzone 2 Community Website service on PSN lists "Killzone 3 Beta Website" as a launchable location, as spotted by Iron Star Movement.

We've reached out to Sony and Guerrilla for more details, but we have to imagine it won't be completely different from betas we've seen in the past-- (say, the Killzone 2 beta, for instance -- with online multi and a few game modes, perhaps). That said, this game does have jetpacks, and that changes things a bit -- namely, our excitement for more info.

[Thanks to everyone who sent this in!]

Bioware's upcoming MMO about a galaxy far, far away offers four new choices for characters' species. Star Wars: The Old Republic adds four races: the Sith Pureblood, the original Sith race; the Miraluka, a blind species adept at using the Force to see; the Mirialans, a green-skinned people with strong natural agility; and, finally, the Zabraks -- like the Darth Maul lookalike you see above.

We've got screens of each newly-announced race in our gallery below. Last one to click through is a scruffy-looking Nerf herder!

StarCraft 2 took a slide down the charts this week to fourth, as Toy Story 3 regained the top spot on the UK All Formats chart. There also appears to have been some promotion (the demo, perhaps?) in the region last week for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 because it surged up the charts from eighth to second. According to Chart-Track, Activision-Blizzard's Modern Warfare sequel could potentially overtake Dr Kawashima (aka Brain Age) as the UK's "biggest unit seller" next week.

Dance on Broadway, Ubisoft's pseudo-sequel to Just Dance (holding just fine at #6), knows that life is a cabaret and moves up another spot to third. The other chart-topping stalwart, Red Dead Redemption, drops to fifth -- its lowest position since launch. Check out the UK top ten after the break.
