Wait, you actually liked that Dragon Age 2 trailer that surfaced last week? You're clearly not as big a trailer buff as the rest of us. See, about 40 seconds of additional footage ended up on the cutting room floor, which compromised the vision of the director. Watch it in all its restored glory after the break.

And Yet It Moves, Broken Rules's cardboard-style, world-rotating platformer, is available for download on WiiWare in Europe today. You'll have to move 1,000 Wii Points out of your account to purchase the game, which came out this Monday in North America. WiiWare is also host to Tales of Elastic Boy Mission 1, a 600-Point sort-of platformer starring a little slime creature that can roll and attach to objects with its stretchy arms.

Meanwhile, DSiWare in Europe has myNotebook Carbon and myNotebook Pearl, two variations of Nnooo's notebook app. Also available: Where's Wally? Travel Pack 1. Yes, Wally. He always seems to be hidden behind Waldo.

It seems like Microsoft's Kinect has been dogged by rumors of its limitations since day one. Some rumors have been busted -- you can play Kinect while seated, for instance -- but others are still nebulous just two months out from launch. Speaking to Kinect boss Kudo Tsunoda, VideoGamer attempted to clarify whether or not Kinect is limited to two "active" players, as was reported earlier this year.

Tsunoda's answer: Look at Dance Central. Said Tsunoda, "Dance Central is already incorporating a lot more than two players," adding that "it's not necessarily any kind of limitation as much as it is developers just trying to customize the experiences around what they think is the best way to play." Furthermore, Tsunoda noted that it can be difficult to work too many players into a game's design, but reiterated that Dance Central is "already incorporating more than two."

Not satisfied, we contacted Harmonix for further clarification on this issue. Read the response after the break.

It's been a long road for the California bill backed by Governor Schwarzenegger that seeks to keep violent video games from being sold to minors. But the end is finally in sight: The Entertainment Consumer Association has announced that the case, known as Schwarzenegger vs. EMA (Entertainment Merchants Association), will go before US Supreme Court on November 2.

As an outside party, the ECA will submit an amicus brief in the case and has set up a website for a petition and more information about the pending arguments. So far, lower courts have judged the proposed law, which would set up legal rules and penalties against selling violent video games to minors, to be unconstitutional. Of course, this time around, we're talking about the United States Supreme Court, so any decision in favor of the bill would overturn previous rulings in lesser courts. Take that, Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals!

Oral arguments in the case begin November 2, and the judges should have a decision soon after that. This will be the first time the Supreme Court looks at video games and the First Amendment, so a ruling either way should be pretty historic.

In a move that is entirely too rare, Capcom will distribute a demo of its DS adventure Okamiden via the Wii Nintendo Channel in Japan. The demo will be available through Wiis from September 8 through October 5. It will also be distributed via "DS Station" download kiosks throughout Japan from September 9 through October 6, and through Nintendo Zone connections (found in McDonalds) from September 10 through October 7. The game is out in Japan on September 30.

We're checking with Capcom to find out if there are any plans to distribute a demo in North America before the game's 2011 release.

Civilization 4: The Complete Edition is on sale through Games for Windows Live for $10. That's 75 percent the regular price. The sale began today and will stand the test of time ... until September 1, 2010, when a sneak attack will wipe out the deal -- or so The Oracle foretells.

The Civ 4 complete edition includes all the expansion packs for the epic critically acclaimed strategy game, including Colonization, which is more of a spin-off. It's certainly an amazing deal, but just remember that Civilization 5 will be out September 21. We doubt that one will cost $10.

Southpeak is also bringing Two Worlds 2, Battle Vs. Chess, and previously unheard of motorcycle racer SBK-X for attendees to check out.

Also, if you're over 10 years old, you could try your hand at some Nail'd speed trials for a chance to win the 70cc Mini-Motocross Pit Bike pictured above. While it might not put you in the running for "Toughest Motocross Dude Ever," it's a totally adorable little motorcycle. Who could say no to that? A monster, that's who. UFO Interactive has responded to our inquiry about the missing Wii version of Rock of the Dead, informing us that it's not been canceled. According to a UFO rep, the Wii game is "on the back burner for the time being."

The publisher wouldn't disclose specific reasons for the delay of the Wii release, but told Joystiq that UFO and developer Epicenter Studios are focusing on the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions for now, and they plan to get back to the Wii game "once we have accomplished our goals with these two platforms." Once you've accomplished the goal of releasing a game about killing zombies by playing guitars and drums, anything seems possible.

Ginx TV, a media company responsible for the production of the casual-oriented Gameface program, announced earlier today that it would soon have its own video game-centric television station in the UK. Ginx CEO Michiel Bakker explained during the Edinburgh Interactive conference, "video gaming is the only massively mainstream entertainment genre without a dedicated channel. My ambition here, is to do for gaming what MTV did for music."

If we understand Bakker's sentiment correctly, then that means we can look forward to a few good years of video game coverage, and then an endless parade of terrible reality shows starring terrible people doing terrible things. Wonderful!
