So much to talk about this week, and not nearly enough time to do it! First off, our audio is all fixed up! Second, we hit up all the biggest and best news of the week, complete with your comments! Then we hit up the games we played, which is when I jump into my [...]
We know that Jools Watsham is working on a game that has been codenamed ‘Spirit’. We also know that the game is going to be for DS. As I was going through Twitter, I noticed this message and picture from Mr. Watsham…
In the spirit of fun…
It seems like an odd picture to post [...]
Coming from the official Super Meat Boy blog…
As of this week, Super Meat Boy is now content complete! Content complete means the games content is 100% finished and currently being tested for bugs and difficulty smoothing. VMC and play testing usually last about 2 weeks then we submit for final approval and the game [...]
Man, that would be one hell of a great display for my office, but I don’t think I could justify spending $250 on it. Perhaps one of you guys can pony up the cash to prove your Metroid love?! Thanks to Alfredo for the heads up.
The guys at WayForward are starting up the Shantae: Risky’s Revenge hype machine. They’ve already had a trailer and some screens, but now they’ve opened up an official Twitter account. Lucky for us, the account already has some information on the upcoming title.
Sorry, no solid date just yet, but we’ll be sure to [...]
While compiling this week's menagerie of gaming-centric webcomics, we suddenly realized -- man, a ton of gaming-centric webcomics have fallen off the map this past year. Regular contenders like Dipswitch, 2P Start, Slackerz and Sidescroller have either stopped updating or formally shut down entirely. We need to fatten up our catalog -- if you've got a favorite strip that you've been keeping to yourself, now would be a great time to drop a link to it in the comments!
In the mean time, check out our seven favorite strips from this past week below, and vote for your favorite in the poll after the jump!
Words and Their Meanings (Penny Arcade) Fortune Cookies (Brawl in the Family) Here and Gone (Digital Unrest) Bat Out of Hell Part Two (Awkward Zombie) Death of a Middleman (No Cash Value) Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: The Game (Another Videogame Webcomic) Nerd Orgies (GU Comics)
We know you prefer a little bit of easing into the main thesis of our news articles, but there's just no way we could contain our excitement for this delightful development. The ESRB rating for Obsidian's desert-crawling action-RPG explains, "there is also an extended sequence suggesting (no depiction) sexual activity with a robot." Said erotic automaton will drop bon mots such as "Fisto reporting for duty . . . Please assume the position," and "I suppose I should test you out . . . Servos active!"
On the off chance you think we imagined this bold, innovative feature in some sort of fever dream, you can read the full ESRB description. Or, or a vaguely NSFW look at how this adult subject might be implemented in the game, we suggest turning your attention to The Whitest Kids U' Know.
Zombie Studios has been tinkering with its online-only shooter Blacklight: Tango Down, releasing a new patch today for Xbox and PC that's rife with fixes. If you wanted more time to let players join your match, or if you wanted to switch the crouch and melee buttons, you're going to love this.

For some, using two electro-lollipops to run a game isn't as intuitive as it sounds. That's why you guys made up some helpful visual instructions for the good, bad, ugly and many other ways to operate PlayStation Move. More »
A portion of a CheapAssGamer review…
Overall, there is something pleasing about Ivy the Kiwi? that will appeal to gamers looking for a unique action-puzzle title. There are some missteps along the way, but this title will be a sleeper hit for those who find it at a good price and on the right system.

A portion of a C3 review…
On first glance, All-Star Karate looks like it might be right at home on the shelves between Cruis’n and Ninjabread Man. For those willing to persist, however, the game rewards players with fun gameplay and exercise potential, if falling short in areas of presentation and MotionPlus usage.
What better way to make the latest issue of your magazine fly off the shelves than with LovePlus stickers? I mean, that works well for Japanese magazines, which is why Gemaga is doing it! Plaster these babies all over your DSi XL and let people know how much you love fake girlfriends!

You could buy this PlayStation 3, this Xbox 360, or two of these Nintendo Wiis. You could get two beautiful sets of Global chef's knives. Heck, you could even purchase a top of the line netbook! Or you could buy a sweater with Mario on it made by the developer of Earthbound. For 435 dollars.
