#facebook Madden NFL Superstars, a Facebook card-and-management game anticipated for several months, went live to the public earlier today. The free-to-play game resembles June's FIFA Superstars in structure while borrowing elements from the popular Madden Ultimate Team of the console game. More »

Sega's "Return of the Dreamcast" starts in September with the re-release of Sonic Adventure on Xbox Live Arcade. Microsoft has put a Sept. 15 release date on the Dreamcast to PC to XBLA port. A PlayStation Network version is also planned. More »

Happy release day everyone. Today we can finally say that Castle Crashers for the PlayStation Network is here! Well technically it comes out in the next hour or so, but that’s good enough. Today you have the opportunity to join a community of over 1.8 million strong. Even more importantly you are the first to get your hands on the brand new Volleyball and Team Arena modes. Working with the entire SCEA staff in getting this game out has been a wonderful experience for us all, and we are very fortunate to have been able to bring this title to the PlayStation Network.

Of course we wouldn’t be alive today if it wasn’t for the continuous support from all of our fans. We meet all of you at various shows, talk to you through emails, forums, comments, and the one thing that always remains the same is you are all very awesome.

Tomorrow we are on a plane to Seattle to attend the Penny Arcade Expo (PAX). This will be our largest booth at PAX ever and we’re bringing everything we possibly can to make the experience great. Castle Crashers Arcade Cabinet running on a PlayStation 3, BattleBlock Theater demo, new merchandise (yes this means a PAX Exclusive T-Shirt among other things), and the list keeps going on. If you are in the area, or even if you’re not, come on by to Booth #3102 and say hello to us and play our games. We hope to see all of you on PSN later tonight attempting to rescue some kidnapped princesses. They’re all tied up on posts and everything, won’t you help them? They need your help!

Wondering why you’ve never seen this screen? It’s available in the FDS version of the game. The version in the states used a password system. Also, the ‘Kill Mode’ was used for deleting your saved files. How very un-Nintendo!

The latest dev diary for Brink focuses on the game's innovative art design, largely conceived by designer Olivier Leonardi, who has a total artist name. What's so innovative about it? Two things, mostly: there's lots and lots of color, and also, everyone's arms are super long.

Rather: You'll get to explore a tropical paradise in the Barnacle Bay expansion pack, due this fall. Whether you decide to be a lowdown, dirty pirate on the hunt for treasure and grog, or a sightseeing tourist looking to soak up virtual sun, is up to you.

The Barnacle Bay area will be sold exclusively through The Sims 3 Store this fall. Within, you'll discover new locales such as Founder's Beach, Goldbeard Galleon Gallery and Pirate's Hideaway -- plus several other locations and NPCs that await your inner Magellan. The expansion pack will also include "nearly two dozen" new items.

It's been a while since you last attended an exclusive soiree, hasn't it? Our compatriots over at AOL Music have invited you to a "Listening Party" for the Anamanaguchi-crafted soundtrack for Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: The Game. Yes, that's fancy internet-speak for "the whole album is now available to stream for free, on the off-chance you're too much of a cheapskate to buy it."

So, it may not be the most exciting party you've ever attended in your life, but at least you can attend it sans pants and not get any funny looks from your contemporaries.

We'll be honest, we somehow let the Kinect title Adrenalin Misfits -- known as Crossboard7 outside of North America -- slip by during both E3 and Gamescom. We're not sure how it happened, because the trailers are priceless. They instantly evoke the memories of Wii launch titles, starring incredibly enthusiastic children and families just having a grand old time.

The "crossboarding" game offers several modes of play, including both single-player and multiplayer races and minigames. It also features unlockable boards and the ability to play as either an in-game character or your Xbox 360 Avatar. Also, if you can believe it, YOU are the controller.

A great game of whodunit that's fun for all ages.
