A bootleg Game Boy game from the Philippines and a cat hologram sticker have been combined to make the best Game Boy cartridge ever. If anyone ever asked you what you were playing, you could just take out the cart and show them. It clearly speaks for itself.

The ESRB has rated Zeit 2. While we already knew the shooter was coming to Xbox 360 and PC later this year, the rating has outed its publisher -- Ubisoft. Fans of shmups will probably take comfort in reading the description of the game: "This is a side-scrolling shooter game in which players control a bubble-covered spaceship as it shoots waves of enemies and collects power-up items. Stylized enemies disappear in explosions when defeated; one power-up causes all on-screen enemies to explode at once."

What the ESRB doesn't mention is the time-traveling gimmick that Zeit 2 employs. You'll be able to fast-forward time to get through sections of the game more quickly, and rewind time to deal even more damage to your enemies. Not quite making sense? Don't worry, we've embedded the trailer after the break.

After being passed over by Microsoft, because they're like stupid or something, the WiiWare platform will soon get its hands on Amanita Design's infinitely charming adventure title Machinarium. The game will be ported to the console by XGen Studios, whose previous WiiWare titles include the fairly successful port of Defend Your Castle. No release date or pricing information accompanied the port's announcement.

While we worry the game might be truncated in some manner to make it under the WiiWare platform's 50MB cap, we're thrilled to see it spread its delightful influence. We'd like it on every platform possible, please. We don't think we'll be happy until we're playing this bad boy on our R-Zone.

Remember when motion-controlled games were simply for old people and children? (We kid!) However, Nintendo's marketing has rarely reached this level of aggression. Sony has launched a new website -- www.yaybuttons.com -- that plays hardball against Microsoft's button-free Kinect experience. By clicking any of the buttons on the virtual PlayStation Move controller, you'll be able to read through a rant from fictional PlayStation VP Kevin Butler:
"It turns out that buttons are pretty important. Not like "save the whales" important. More like 'not play games that suck' important. Cuz they help you ... control stuff. Controller. Control. Kinda makes sense. Some people don't think you need buttons. WHAT?! Craziness. Could you imagine gaming without buttons? Where would the control come from?"While there's some reason for concern, this kind of marketing can be interpreted not as playful, but a return to the "arrogant" attitude Sony has been notorious for. Considering Microsoft's Kudo Tsunoda confirmed future games could use the button-y Xbox 360 controller in conjunction with Kinect, this might be an argument Sony won't want to kick up.

When the BBFC first outed Activision's plans to release a title called Blood Drive, we immediately jumped to the conclusion that the publisher was working on an ultraviolent car combat game. Little did we know that what it was actually working on was a car combat game ... with zombies! A press release has revealed more about the title, in which "contestants must use their motorized death steeds of steel in a televised game show where drivers battle each other and hordes of revolting flesh eaters in an all-out fight to the death." It's a very poetic press release.

Blood Drive will start its engines this November on the 360 and PS3 at a slightly embargained price of $49.99. You can check out the first few screens for the game in the gallery below.
