Looking for a good deal on Kinect? Amazon hasn't discounted the $150 tech, but if you pre-order it along with an additional game (it already comes with Kinect Adventures), the retailer will hook you up with a $30 game credit when the goods ship. Your additional game? It had better be Dance Central.

Hot on the heels of the announcement of Section 8: Prejudice, the first details surrounding the game are starting to trickle in. According to the latest press release, TimeGate has taken user feedback from the first game and is using it to "drive every single development decision" for the sequel. Prejudice continues the story of Captain Alex Corde of the 8th Armored Infantry and promises a "lengthier" campaign than its predecessor.

Multiplayer once again features the ability to spawn anywhere on the map, as well as Dynamic Combat Missions -- objectives that change throughout each multiplayer match. Multiplayer will also include "more than 50 customizable weapons, tools and upgrades." Check out the first screens in the gallery below, plus the trailer after the break.

Jim Gaffigan summed up the "merits" of camping rather well, which we point out because there's a new Walmart ad that shows you how to deal with a friend stupid enough to go camping the night Halo: Reach launches. Personally, we'd never befriend somebody who had their priorities that mixed up.

It seems that the combination of 3D technology, video game inspiration and the acting chops of Milo Jovonovich ... Milli Jovovonich ... that lady from The Fifth Element proved undeniable for moviegoers this past weekend. Paul W.S. Anderson's latest foray into the world of game movies, Resident Evil: Afterlife 3D took first place in the box office over the weekend, netting $28 million on opening night alone.

That's the best opening for any film in the series so far, but with an estimated budget of $60 million, it's got a little ways to go to break even. But hey -- enough about the monies. Did you see the movie? How was it? And how was Mrs. Jovavonov ... Joovajanavich ... M.J.?

Blind-Rush says “A short description of the Track: A track inspired by the beautiful city and country of Panama. Panama city is a seaside city surrounded by jungle so is this track. You can enter the jungle part of the track by tacking the hyper jump to the right or you can continue your road thought the city by tacking the hyper jump to the left. The track features several shortcuts in the jungle and the city. It also features some big jumps and traps, but it is still easy for the new players. I’ve got great feedback from other players about this track.

Like the Halo series before it, Bungie is working on its own, brand new game engine for use in its forthcoming Activision project. "Just like we don't want to develop a game off someone else's IP, we want to push our own technology in the same way. That's going to be our position for the forseeable future," Bungie's Brian Jarrard told Develop in a recent interview.

Furthermore, that new engine is already being worked on, though it's still in the early stages. "Yeah, [the new engine is] actually in development, so I would say it's in a stage where, technically we're still at the end of a pre-production mode," Jarrard explained. He did admit that, "now that Reach is done the full weight of our team is rolling into the project," adding, "Real work is underway." We're excited to hear more about Bungie's next project, but for now, we've got an inevitable glassing to face.

Put simply, we're all champing at the bit to play us some Halo: Reach. This podcast is a formality, really, something we are forced to do out of some bizarre sense of tradition and duty. If we had our druthers (and early copies, which we don't), we'd be playing Halo: Reach. As it stands, all we can do is pass the time until Tuesday. And now, with the latest episode of X3F, so can you!

THQ today published a "core games" release calendar, highlighted by the May 2011 date given for Red Faction: Armageddon -- just a few months beyond the initially proposed date. The calendar spans the publisher's fiscal 2012 (April 2011 - March 2012) and also includes a Spring 2011 release window for MX vs. ATV Alive, followed by the planned summertime launch of Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine. A new Saints Row game (or games?) and a WWE iteration are expected next fall.

Additionally, an upcoming UFC title has been slated for Winter 2012 (January-March 2010). Of course, all dates are "subject to change," THQ notes.

PS3's atmospheric adventure game Heavy Rain will receive a free patch on September 22 to support the Move peripheral. The PlayStation Blog notes the patch will download automatically when users start the game, adding actions that "mimic real-world motions" -- like knocking on doors (pictured). For those interested in experiencing this, you'll have to pick up the Move controller on September 19.

The PSN will also add a Heavy Rain Move demo on September 28, featuring two of the early levels in the game. As the update is all about adding Move support, don't expect a pronunciation patch for "ore-A-gammy killer."
