There’s no doubt that this is a fan-made trailer. Nintendo would never, ever go for some of the things shown here. With that said, it looks pretty interesting! Thanks to Pugwishbone and Dan for the heads up.
We're not sure how Cabela's could be so consistently unaware of the games landscape, but we'd be remiss if we said we weren't glad. Otherwise, we wouldn't get hilarious videos from Mega64, like the one we've embedded past the break. We don't want to ruin the ending for you, but let's just say the Cabela's guys are ready to finish the fight.
Perhaps the previous Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood footage you've seen was lacking in the "music that makes you wanna assassinate fools" department? This latest one certainly has plenty of that! "Burn My Shadow" by Unkle features prominently, as you'll find out past the break.
Square Enix has released the first images of Dissidia: Final Fantasy sequel Dissidia: Duodecim this morning, also announcing the game as playable at this year's Tokyo Game Show. Unfortunately for Dissidia fans, nothing firmer than the already revealed "2011" release window was given.
Acclaimed character designer Tetsuya Nomura will once again lend his talents to the Dissidia franchise, which can be seen in the first four pieces of art from the game in our gallery below. The only two characters revealed thus far are FFIV's Kain and FFXIII's Lightning, but we're sure to hear about more as TGS opens this week.

At last, your shame will end. At last, you will be able to tell your guitar-playing friends that you too can play guitar, well sorta, thanks to Rock Band 3's pro guitar mode. Plus, you will have learned guitar better. More »
Activision this morning revealed an incentive for Metallica slash Guitar Hero fans to pick up the forthcoming Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock in the game's first week launch window: the ability to import 39 of the former game's 49 tracks into the latter game for free. Like Guitar Hero 5, Band Hero, Guitar Hero: World Tour and Guitar Hero: Smash Hits, some of the songs in Guitar Hero: Metallica will be importable into the forthcomingrhythm game release.
After the week is up on October 5, the import will cost 480 MS Points / $4.99 / 600 Wii Points, tying it for first place with Guitar Hero 5 for most expensive import cost. We've broken down the track listing from GH: Metallica that will be available for import into Warriors of Rock (39 of 49 songs) after the break.

No, no, not Nancy Kerrigan-esque lead pipe handicapping (though we may wish we had that kind of power by the time all is said and done). No, we're laying down odds on The Tester's second season cast members, who will fight to continue the legacy of first season champ Will "Cyrus" Powers and take a job as a QA tester at PlayStation.
The contestants have apparently chosen to ignore the desperate, Morse-coded messages Cyrus continually taps out on the desk he's chained to at Sony; begging for either sustenance or the sweet release of death.

Here’s something that’s even more interesting. It appears that the co-op levels will actually be inspired by classic Sonic levels. Check out the comparison of one of the co-op levels below, paired up with Green Hill Zone.
Thanks to Shadzter for the heads up!
In most action games where one player controls two characters, one-half of the duo always seems to slow the other down. In the latest dev diary for Enslaved, Ninja Theory explains how it avoided this imbalance: by giving unique powers to Monkey and Trip. Powers like thetimeless "Fastball Special."
I don’t dare call any game devs overrated. They’re all doing something that I know I’m not smart enough to do. No matter how much time and effort I put into trying to learn game development, I know that my final outcome would be quite crappy! None of these guys are overrated [...]
