If anyone mentions the name Nintendo in today’s day and age, we automatically think video games. Of course, most of us know that Nintendo was around long before the video game was even invented! It’s time to look back on Nintendo’s contributions to the world prior to gaming, and then celebrate their huge [...]

Mafia 2's third major piece of downloadable content will be "Joe's Adventures," available on PS3, Xbox 360 and PC later this year. Take-Two will announce pricing and a an exact date at a later time. The DLC will expand the story of Joe Barbaro in the crime epic by ... wait -- "Joe's Adventures?" Madonn' that's a clunker! You chose that over "Barbaro's Badda-bing Bash?" C'mon!

Oh, you want more? How about "Barbaro Shop 2: Back in Business" ... or "The Barbaro of Empire Bay?" Heck, "Joe the Barbaro-ian" is better than "Joe's Adventures." At least spice it up a bit -- make it "JoJo's Bizarre Adventure" or something. No, wait -- that's taken. Okay, we got! "Barbaroella." Done.

A Weezer DLC pack has been released for the iPhone version of Guitar Hero to mark the release of the band's new album, Hurley. The collection includes the new track "Memories," as well as "Buddy Holly" and "(If You're Wondering If I Want You To) I Want You To" from the Weezer back catalog. You can pick up the set for $1.99.

... What's that? You're saying we posted this news just so we'd have a threadbare excuse to embed the new Weezer-centric Auto-Tune The News after the break? Why, we're positively scandalized by your assertion.

hehehe buying this, would've been better if there was more off of hurley than just memories

According to an interview with Netherrealm Studios executive producer Shaun Himmerick conducted by Industry Gamers, not only does the PSP2 exist, but it's already in developers' hands. When asked about the possibility of the Mortal Kombat reboot heading to PSP or 3DS, Himmerick replied, "We're not launching day one on all consoles like that. We are looking at them; we have a PSP2 in the house and we're looking at the engine, like what can it support."

Wait -- the PSP2, you say? "PSP2 looks like it's a pretty powerful machine," Himmerick added, before saying that his studio doesn't have a 3DS just yet. Sony, as you might imagine, refused to comment.

Honestly, we don't know why we do this to ourselves. Here we are, just sort of casually wanting the Fable 3 "Limited Collector's" Edition and we have to go and watch the unboxing video after the break. So now it's all we want. But look at the thing! It looks like a book! What are we, made of stone?

So, we thought Two Worlds 2 was supposed to launch this week -- and we were not alone in this thinking -- but it turns out the game's release date has been quietly moved. A representative for Southpeak told Joystiq today that Two Worlds 2 is scheduled to make its retail appearance on October 5 in North America. (Although we asked, no new European date was provided.)

Guess someone figured out launching the same week as Halo: Reach probably isn't the best move ... right, Cabela?
