Sorry, PC gaming Hadouken enthusiasts -- if you ever want a chance to play Capcom's updated version of the latest Street Fighter, you're going to have to do so on a console or in an arcade. In a recent interview with 4Gamer.net (via Gamasutra), producer Yoshinori Ono confirmed that while the PC version of Street Fighter IV was a big seller worldwide, the publisher has no plans to put the new and improved Super iteration on home computers due to the platform's high rate of piracy.

Ono added that a PC port is still possible, if Capcom can find a reasonable DRM solution for the title. We think there are other ways around the problem -- for instance, you could just donate some of the proceeds of the game to charity, as that might discourage oh no wait.

Borderlands' last DLC offering, "ClapTrap's New Robot Revolution," is easily the biggest highlight of Major Nelson's list of Xbox Live content coming throughout the rest of September. Aside from that, there's the Toy Soldiers "Invasion " DLC to look forward to on the following day, September 29.

If you've yet to download the toy box's cool blend of action and tower defense, you'll find it discounted to 800 MS Points on Xbox Live Arcade next week.

To hear Starcraft 2 designer Dustin Browder tell it, creating games at Blizzard takes years of fighting and yelling rather than coding or creating art -- every little decision is a "a three-week or longer holy war." Browder says that the controversial decision to release the RTS as three titles was made to get the game out faster -- after all that arguing, Blizzard figured that it needed to release something, and if that had been the whole game, we'd have been waiting even longer. As it was, he says, "we wanted to get a product into consumers' hands sometime before the end of the decade. Even that we didn't quite make, I guess, but it was still sooner!"

Browder answers fans' concerns about how closely the second game resembles the first by suggesting that adapting RTS competitors' innovations wouldn't have made the game more successful. "I haven't really seen another gameplay experience that's attracted millions of players with hundreds of thousands playing online," he says. "I have not seen someone else be successful by removing economy. I have not seen other RTSes be successful by removing micro."

And finally, he says to look for future updates coming to the game, both in the form of patches to Battle.net, and in the other versions. There's no timeline set yet for the paid user maps program, but Blizzard is working on more art for modders, and updates "for our fans to get more value out of Battle.net." As for what updates will be in the second retail title, Heart of the Swarm, Browder seems to hint that Blizzard just hasn't decided yet. They must still be throwing things and yelling down in Irvine.

We oldsters are desperate to hear that the things we once loved are, if not loved by today's youth, at least accepted. Today we get such evidence via a new line of DS cases from Blaze featuring the Mr. Men and Little Miss characters. We loved them back in the day, so ... so we're cool, right?

It's just like Mom always said: When life gives you explosions, you make Explosionade -- and then release it on Xbox Live. Maybe that wasn't what she said (we weren't listening most of the time), but Mommy's Best Games took that advice, because its 2D side-scrolling shooter is coming to Xbox Live's Indie Games platform sometime this week. The title will have "dozens" of challenge rooms to play through, two-player co-op, online high scores and, as you can probably tell from the name, lots and lots of things blowing other things up.

MBG previously released the popular indie title Weapon of Choice, so this should be one to look for. Plus, sales of this game will contribute towards the release of Grapple Buggy, a title that MBG has been seeking a publisher for so it can land on Xbox Live Arcade actual. There's no word on Explosionade's price, but you can look for it on the XBLM by sometime on Saturday night. It's just like Mom always said: Support your indie developers. She did say that one, right? Maybe not.

In honor of Pac-Man's 30th anniversary, Namco Bandai has entered into a co-marketing partnership with Japan's Meiji food corporation to create some very cute packaging for snacks and beverages. Starting next month, cartons of Meiji's coffee and fruit drinks, as well as its line of puddings, will bear Pac-Man imagery.

The enjoyment from these packages won't just be superficial. Each will come with a code allowing Japanese customers to download special Meiji/Pac-Man images for their cell phones. One on hand, we love this, but on the other hand, we can't help but think Namco Bandai's money would have been better spent on Pac-Man Battle Royale machines. For our office.

We're having a very real panic attack right now. It started when we read the press release posted after the jump, which announces that Entropia Universe, an MMO with a real-world economy and not much else, would play host to "Planet Michael" in late 2011. In this upcoming Michael Jackson-themed world -- not to be confused with the Micahel Jackson experience -- fans of Michael Jackson can congregate and talk about how much they love Michael Jackson. We're not sure what else one does on Planet Michael, but it will seemingly cost real money, and we're sure there will be people who spend money to do it -- hence the panic attack.

Here's an idea! How about the Michael Jackson fans of the world just use the comment section of this post as a forum to discuss their love of Michael Jackson's music and cinematic works? We certainly won't charge you anything, nor will we creepily approach you for digital sex! Here, we'll start things off: "Man in the Mirror" is the greatest song ever written by humans, and "Dirty Diana" isn't far behind. Discuss.

According to Seriously!, Steam users will be able to download Gold Edition on Thursday for $39.99s. We've followed up with Devolver Digital for confirmation and will let you know what we hear back.
