Penned by Marvel scribe Christos Gage, Captain America: Super Soldier lets players become Captain America, the ultimate super-soldier, facing the red skull and his forces.
Sega today confirmed work on its Captain America game, officially titled Captain America: Super Soldier, due in 2011 in conjunction with a feature film. Marvel is already in production on the Captain America and Thor movies due next year (in advance of Joss Whedon's 2012 Avengers flick), and Sega has previously announced its game adaptation of the Norse god's on-screen exploits. Captain America is being developed internally at Sega America for PS3, 360, Wii DS and PSP.
A third-person action game, Super Soldier will bet set during World War II and will see Cap facing off against his nemesis, Red Skull, within the walls of a castle turned Hydra base. Sega is touting a "highly athletic combat system with fluid platforming and a highly tuned suite of shield attacks," mentioning that the iconic offensive weapon will be used for "taking out multiple enemies at once, deflecting incoming fire back at enemies, solving puzzles, and scaling walls."
The game's story is penned by Christos Gage and is set "within the same world" as the movie.

It’s not what it once was because they already sold it to everyone. … If you look within the gaming community, hip-hop is more popular than classic rock. Red Dead Redemption's "Hunting and Trading Outfits Pack" will be released for free next Tuesday, October 12, on PSN and Xbox Live. The DLC's "Savvy Merchant" outfit will grant the wearer the power to purchase guns and ammo for half price, while the pelt and hide adorned "Expert Hunter" outfit will double the amount you earn from selling your skinned trophies.
That's not the best part, though. The best part of the free outfit pack is that it will add the Jackalope (pictured) to the game. Though, considering there are soon to be zombies in the Wild West, this horned jackrabbit seems pretty darned ordinary.
