EA might have stopped the presses of NBA Elite 11 console discs, but the iPhone version is still on track for release this month, according to EA Mobile. The division announced its fall lineup today, with FIFA 11 and EA Sports MMA rounding out the sports titles for iPhone (and iPod Touch) in October. Additionally, Heroes Lore, a popular mobile RPG in Korea (we're told), will be released this month in the App Store.

An iPhone version of Battlefield Bad Company 2, "based on the best-selling console game," leads EA Mobile's November charge, which includes High Caliber Hunting, a Retina Display-enhanced critter capper, featuring a multitude of brand-name firearms and gear. For iPad? There's SimCity Deluxe.

And for poor Android this fall? Just ... the Game of Life.

The original Castlevania on the NES is one hell of a tough game. It may not be all that long, but the amount of time you spend trying to get through the levels can easily bump up the play time. I think most owners of this title haven’t even beaten it, but that’s [...]

Retailers are beginning to list limited edition Kinectimals bundles, which include a stuffed animal and a $60 price tag. Noted by Dtoid, Toys R Us has an exclusive "King Cheetah" stuffed kinectimal, while GameStop has the blue "Maltese Tiger" as its exclusive. Neither box comes with a small, adorable child to play the game, so you'll have to obtain one of those through other means.

If the quality of the stuffed animals in the retail box is anything like those given away at the "'Project Natal Experience" during E3, trust that it will not replace Mr. Snuzzlemuffin at bedtime. However, they will look awesome next to that Noble Six statue.

Furthermore, publisher Deep Silver has announced that the game will sell for the wallet-friendly price of $49.99 on Xbox 360 and PS3. The PC version will be an even more palatable $39.99. With Enslaved now wrapped up, Ninja Theory's Tameem Antoniades answered a few questions from VG247's readers. One asked about the possible direction a sequel to the team's previous game, Heavenly Sword, could take. (Spoiler alert!) The death of the first game's heroine, Nariko, obviously poses a challenge.

According to Antoniades, one idea had players discovering Nariko "trapped in Hell by the spirit of the sword." Coming to her rescue would be Kai, playable in the real world and somehow able to "communicate with Nariko and try and help rescue her soul." Fascinatingly, the potential sequel would have played with the movement of time -- one day in Hell represents a year on Earth -- and as such, Kai would transform from "teenage girl to old woman" throughout the course of the game.

The Voices of a Distant Star approach to the game's storytelling could have made for an interesting, thought-provoking journey. (Certainly more so than EA's Dante's Inferno.) However, it's unlikely this concept will ever come to fruition. Last we heard, Ninja Theory is no longer involved with the series.
