If it wasn't fairly evident before than PopCap has a very personal vendetta against your work ethic, it should be now -- in celebration of the 10th birthday of the developer's flagship, gem-swapping casual series, its offering a free download of Bejeweled 2 for PC and Mac.

Last week, we got a look at a hair-topped, alternate version of God of War's surly hero, Kratos -- recently, PlayStation.Blog showed off another "what if" concept of the protagonist. As in, "what if the dude wore more clothes" -- a query answered by Ghost of Sparta's "Legionnaire" pre-order bonus.

Two fantastic NES games based off of licenses, both from Capcom. Back in the day, Capcom really hit their stride with fantastic looking/sounding/playing NES games. It seemed like they could do no wrong, and both Duck Tales and Little Nemo are perfect examples of projects that rocked. If only we could get [...]

"It's been ten years since the last Mega Man Legends game," Inafune reminded the captive New York Comic Con audience, before unveiling a new teaser trailer for the upcoming Mega Man Legends 3 Project for Nintendo 3DS.

Why the "Project" in the title? Inafune clarified that this "project" would be a collaborative experience -- but not in the Mega Man Universe kind of way. Instead, the community will be able to actively participate in the development of the game. The Capcom-Unity website will be updated with a "Dev Room," where fans will be able to submit their gameplay ideas, boss ideas, character ideas, and more. In the future, fans will be able to vie for a position in the game's voice cast.

The first challenge for fans is to pick the next heroine in the Legends series. Nine different artists, including Inafune himself, are offering designs. The fan-driven vote will determine the female star of Legends 3. Keep an eye on the Dev Room for your chance to decide the future of the long-dormant Legends series.

A few of the upcoming Xbox 360 Dashboard update's biggest changes have been heavily touted by Microsoft over the past few months: Things like a redesigned Zune Marketplace, ESPN streaming video and the power to control things with your mind gestures. However, a few of the update's lesser known functions were recently explained by Microsoft -- for instance, did you know that the update will improve voice chat quality, a more streamlined approach to connecting to wireless hotspots, and also, sometimes, your 360's disc tray will produce sizzling strips of hickory-smoked bacon?

To find out which one of those things we said was a bold-faced lie, check out the full list of changes coming in the next Dashboard update after the jump.

It's another one of those wonderful weeks here at the Weekly Webcomic Wrapup laboratories, where we have so many good strips to choose from that we have a hard time whittling the list down to seven. What do we do when we have a hard time with something? We give up, of course! Which is great news for you, because, hey, more comics.

Check out the nine high-quality gaming-related strips below, and vote for your favorite after the jump! There's a bit more than you're used to, but we trust that you'll have the strength to power through.

The Rob Ford Effect (Of Noobs and Men)
The Sacrifice (Nerf Now)
You and the Captain Make It Happen (No Cash Value)

Director David O. Russell has had a very on-and-off relationship with the film adaptation of Naughty Dog's Uncharted series -- in that he was once on the film, and then he was off of it. According to a report from The Hollywood Reporter, Russell has signed back on to the film as director, temporarily sidelining his other upcoming project, a film remake of Pride and Prejudice and Zombies. Dude's got taste when it comes to his choice of projects, we'll give him that.

The report doesn't mention whether or not Russell's rejoining of the crew means the film will make its initial 2011 release window. Nor does it mention whether our heart's wish will come true, and get Charlie Sheen to star as the series' ill-tucked protagonist, Nathan Drake. Think about it! He's perfect.
