Just in case you were worried that there weren't quite enough Xbox 360 bundles to choose from, it looks like Microsoft has another one headed down the pike. The bundle in question includes a 250GB Xbox 360 S console as well as Alan Wake and the eternal pack-in, Forza Motorsport 3. The image above -- pulled directly from one of Microsoft's retailer resource services -- is denoted as a Canadian bundle.

Siliconera also reports that the bundle has been announced for South Korea at a price of 398,000 won ($356). A tipster has informed Kotaku that the bundle is available in Europe as well, retailing for €250 ($348). We've contacted Microsoft to find out if the bundle is coming stateside as well.

One intriguing note about the bundle: It doesn't actually include a physical copy of Alan Wake, instead offering a code to download the game in its entirety (see a close-up image in the gallery below). While it's likely to be a Games on Demand title in the near future, it's also worth noting that Remedy has expressed interest in releasing the game in downloadable episodes, a la Fable 2.

Has it really been a year since the release of Uncharted 2? Developer Naughty Dog should know better than anyone, and it also knows how to reward fans of the game -- specifically its multiplayer component. That's why this Saturday, from 12:01 a.m. PDT through 11:59 p.m. PDT, the developer is offering players special perks and the ability to play with the folks who made the game.

During the 24-hour period, players won't encounter a cash cap in matches and will receive 5x XP (take that, wimpy double- or triple-XP weekends of other games!). Also, they'll get the new first anniversary Nathan Drake multiplayer skin (pictured above) to keep -- it can be used after the "celebration" is over, but has to be grabbed during the Saturday event. Finally, more than 30 members of the development team, including Naughty Dog co-president Evan Wells, will be online during the play period to team up with (or against).

NDI marketing manager Arne Meyer and designer Robert Cogburn are vowing to play for 24 hours straight, after which we're guessing they'll hit a local pub for a little hair of the dog.

Nintendo will release the Wii Remote Plus, which combines a Wii Remote and MotionPlus add-on, in Europe on November 5 -- six days before the Japanese release date. The new controller will be available in black, white, pink and blue. Nintendo has yet to announce a price, but the price in Japan is equivalent to a normal Wiimote, so it'll probably be a similar deal in Europe.

If you want to get a Wii Remote Plus early, and if you have the money, a red one will be included with the Super Mario Bros. anniversary edition Wii on October 29. If you'd like to pick up a game with your Wii Remote Plus, but not a whole system, you'll be able to buy a FlingSmash bundle on November 19.

Krome Studios, which once upon a dream was one of Australia's largest video game developers, will allegedly shut down next Monday, October 18. According to Tsumea, several "credible reports" claim that all remaining staff have been let go, with some employees rehired on contract to finish work. If the reports are true, it isn't surprising, as Krome's collapse has been progressing in slow motion for quite some time.

Most recently, Krome worked on Microsoft's Game Room and released Blade Kitten. Request for comment from the studio have so far gone unanswered. We'll update when we hear something.

At first glance, Slambolt Scrappers appears to be a puzzle game, but that’s only partially correct. It’s also part brawler, part strategy, and really, really frenetic in multiplayer. And despite the familiar appearance of the pieces you’re, um, scrapping over – this ain’t no Tetris. Recently we met with Eitan Glinert of Fire Hose Games, so he could better explain how this upcoming PSN exclusive plays.

Hopefully you now have a better idea of why this genre-mashing game is racking up the accolades. Look for it in early 2011.

Kirby's Epic Yarn is clearly intended for children. Even more than other Kirby games. Its cutscenes are storybook sequences narrated by a single voice actor, who does little voices for each character. The main antagonist is an evil knitter. You are pulled into a magical sock. You can't die.

But even though I seem to be well beyond the age range of this game, I was thoroughly charmed by Kirby's Epic Yarn, and I absolutely delighted in the sight of every stage. Developer Good-Feel, quite honestly, put more thought into the presentation of this game than it needed to. This was clearly a labor of love for everyone involved, and that love comes through in the final experience.
