When Scorpion was still a human, do you think he ever, even in his wildest dreams, imagined his fate: resurrected demon-ninja competing in a martial arts tournament against another, ice ball-throwing ninja? That's positively preposterous, he would have thought. And he would have been dead wrong.

Homemade Halloween costumes, candy corn, and giant robots — these are a few of Tim Schafer and Tasha Harris’s favorite things. The gruesome twosome from Double Fine Productions visited the PlayStation.Blog office with a final build of Costume Quest, their upcoming Halloween RPG that’s heading to PSN tomorrow.

Tim and Tasha brushed everything off my office desk and sat us down for an in-depth video tour of Costume Quest’s adorable characters, plus a look at the turn-based RPG combat and adventuring.

But wait there’s more. The Double Fine team has passed over their brand-new Costume Quest launch trailer for PlayStation.Blog eyes only. Peep it below!

If you thought Hudson was stopping at Deca Sports, Kororinpa, Bomberman and Omega Five for the 3DS, think again! Siliconera spotted two more planned 3DS titles on Hudson's website, namely Bonk and Tetris. It's worth noting that Hudson already has Bonk: Brink of Extinction (pictured) headed to WiiWare, XBLA and PSN at some point in the future. We're sure the simple 3D visuals would work out just fine on Nintendo's new handheld.

And Tetris ... well, Tetris is Tetris.

If you thought that being perma-banned from the Battle.net servers was the most dire repercussion of cheating while playing StarCraft 2, you're sorely mistaken. Last week, Blizzard filed a lawsuit in the Los Angeles U.S. District Court against three players who allegedly created and sold StarCraft 2 hacks -- which we assume are responsible for a large portion of the 5,000 bans that were handed down earlier this month.

According to Blizzard's complaints, folks who use the hacks created by the trio actually engage in copyright infringement, using the game "in excess of the scope of their limited license, as set forth in the EULA and ToU." Blizzard also claims that these hacks "cause serious harm to the value of StarCraft II," by decreasing the game's legitimate players' capacity "to enjoy and participate in the competitive online experience."

It's unclear how much compensation Blizzard is seeking in the case, though a similar lawsuit filed in 2008 against a hacker who created an AI leveling bot in World of Warcraft netted the developer over $6 million in damages. We've contacted Blizzard for further comment on the lawsuit.

Next time out, the Command & Conquer franchise will be more Visceral. Although the game, according to EA's Visceral Games label GM Nick Earl, is still "pretty far out," it will be part of the publisher's strategy to expand the Visceral studio as a brand. Earl detailed the multi-studio Visceral branding in a recent interview with Gamasutra, which would explain why the EA Redwood Shores studio that became Visceral has been working on several projects.

The Visceral label is a collaboration of EA in the States, the "art-focused" Shanghai studio, EA Montreal and a team in Melbourne, Australia. Earl said, "We're not outsourcing or insourcing -- we really look at it as collaborative development, where everyone is on equal playing ground." Dead Space 2 will be an indication of the result achieved through this new Visceral process.
