Remember the difficult keyboard-sharing procedures you and your friends had to adopt when playing the original You Don't Know Jack with three players? If the GameStop listing for the upcoming entry into the trivia franchise is correct, you won't have to keep in such close proximity this time around -- the game is mentioned under a GameStop splash page in a list of Kinect-compatible games.

We've contacted THQ to find out if the retailer's listing is on the level, and if so, what kind of gestures the game will be able to recognize. Most importantly, we need to know if it's going to work with the Game Boat. Otherwise, what's the point?

[Thanks, Exnihilio13!]

Harmonix and MTV Games have announced that John Lennon's acclaimed 1971 album, "Imagine," will be among the first albums available for download in Rock Band 3. We imagine all the people who purchase the new keyboard peripheral will be very eager to play some of Lennon's ballads.

An exact release date and price has yet to be announced (should that have been a "Gimme Some Truth" joke?), though you can expect Lennon's nine tunes (the title track is already on the disc) to join The Doors and Billy Joel online sometime after the game's October 26 launch. And even if you buy it a bit late, there's no better way to commemorate a legend's 70th birthday. (Remember how disgusted Grandpa was when you gave him a quarter of a beetle inside a velvet box?)

The follow up to The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time sure wasn’t as well received as the first N64 outing. The topic of Majora’s Mask is still debated to this day, with opinions ranging wildly. Is it the best Zelda game to ever grace a console, or does it simply put too [...]

Nintendo is looking to see how their products have impacted your lives. They’re asking that you put together a video showing just how the Big N has helped you in life, in one way or another. Perhaps you use Nintendo products as a way to bond with your family. You might even [...]

Dood! I’m here to tell you all about our brand new contest we have devised to hopefully help our favorite Demon Lord Etna to forget all about her lost panties. In order to escape her wrath and specifically from being skinned alive, we’re asking our fans to design a new pair of panties that our favorite Demon Lord herself wouldn’t mind wearing!

Three lucky contestants will be chosen by a panel of us here at NIS America and will win a free copy of Prinny 2: Dawn of Operation Panties, Dood! for PSP. On top of that, the best design will be made into actual panties and will be sent to the top three contestants and also to 50 randomly picked participants! Get creative and help out the Prinnies by making a most-excellent pair of panties for Etna, dood! Check out all of the details here at the Official Contest Page!

On top of that we have prepared the first trailer for Prinny 2 and wanted to share it with all of you!

Those who played the last Prinny adventure — Prinny: Can I Really Be the Hero? — probably already know this, but this game is designed to be challenging. On my first playthrough, I managed to put a serious dent in my 1000 prinny lives before completing it. However, there’s a new addition that I think a lot of players will like, which is called “Baby” mode. The previous version only had “Standard” and “Hell’s Finest” and even on Standard, a lot of players still found some parts and bosses to be on par with side-scrollers from the 80’s in terms of difficulty. “Baby” mode can be activated within the game when necessary to help with game progress and can stop some grey hairs from sprouting. In my case it helped prevent choice words and hand signals from being expressed in the testing room.

I’d like to also take a quick moment to talk to all of you about some of the new Prinny abilities that are mentioned in the trailer. On top of the basic abilities that were included in the original Prinny: Can I Really Be the Hero, there are some really unique features for Prinny 2. One of the most notable abilities available is the new “Break Mode.” The way it works is you first have to eat enough sweets or attack to build your Break Gauge. After a certain point, you can enter “Break Mode” and it will allow you to do 3 separate abilities that can really give you an edge in battle or boss encounters. On top of the special abilities, you will experience a slight damage increase also when using your standard jump slash or normal slash attacks. Break mode now gives you an even bigger reason to get ready for a serious button mashing session, as using it can have a direct correlation to your success against a boss or in certain parts of each level.

5105814282_35758c97f6_m.jpg5105815242_5891302c3d_m.jpg

The first Break Mode ability is called the “Husky Hip Pound.” Much like the hip pound in the last Prinny game, this ability not only has the ability to stun, it has the ability to damage too! The second new ability is called the Prinny Cyclone. Using the Prinny spin technique while in Break Mode will allow you to do a powerful spin technique that will unleash damage to all nearby enemies that you spin over. Lastly, there is the “Prinnikaze” ability. After building your gauge to Break Mode, you can activate an extremely powerful diving sword attack that will deal extra damage to both enemy and boss alike, dood!

5105814994_8d5e594e63_m.jpg5105220549_51a51e043c_m.jpg

On a funny side note, another comical ability appears in Prinny 2 in an item called a Netheryam. Once get one, you instantly start to fart and it lifts you into the air until it runs out. It can be used to get to areas that would otherwise be unreachable, to navigate a certain area of the map, or to soar over your enemies shamelessly with the power of self-reliance using your own gas.

That’s it for this installment from here at NIS America, stay tuned for updated screenshots, character pics, and more trailers on our Official Prinny 2 Website. Laters, dood!

Blizzard may not have an "official" release window for Starcraft 2: Heart of the Swarm, but don't expect it to occur in 2011.SC2 Lead Producer Chris Sigaty told IGN the company would be "very hard pressed to bring [Heart of the Swarm] out next year." He noted that there is no release date, but because the sequel-spansion is more ambitious than Warcraft 3: The Frozen Throne was to its core game, he doesn't "anticipate it being done in that one year time frame."

Sigaty's words are in the same vein as those of Battle.net project director, Greg Canessa, who implied the game would have an early 2012 launch. So, for those still holding out hope for a 2011 release for Heart of the Swarm, just keep on weaning that dream.

After five years in development, Ignition's ambitious action game WarDevil has been canceled, according to Develop. The final nail in the game's coffin follows last month's reported closure of Ignition's London studio (formerly Digi-Guys) where the long-suffering game was being crafted. (As it happens, Ignition now says the London studio will soldier on as the hub of a refocused digital development operation, but that's neither here nor there.)

So, who could have ever guessed this would happen? Why, you, dear reader. Here, let's look at our past WarDevil headlines and see if we couldn't have CSI'ed this thing out.
  • Ignition shutting down London studio, fate of WarDevil under evaluation (This is kind of an obvious one. Let's dig deeper.)
  • WarDevil resurfaces in bizarre (original) Xbox demonstration ("Resurfaces" is what we call a "danger word." Also: This story was from a year ago.)
  • Relax! WarDevil isn't cancelled (Justin from August of 2009 feels really bad about leading you astray here.)
  • WarDevil returns in first new trailer in two years ("Returns" isn't as bad as "resurfaces," except when you add the phrase "after two years.")
  • WarDevil: Enigma screens drop out of the sky (This story from 2007 is notable only because someone somewhere realized that the unintentionally hilarious subtitle would have to be removed.)
Our hearts, of course, go out to those hurt by the cancellation, but we'd like to think the reaction of those closest to the game was less "How could this happen?" and more "Oh, well, naturally."
