Scott Pilgrim took on a lot in his battle for Ramona Flowers -- dudes, ladies, twins, Jason Schwartzman -- but he's yet to face one mighty foe: the ravages of time. He's combatting that very enemy this week, dropping his game's price on Xbox Live Marketplace from 800 MS Points ($10) to just 400 ($5) until Monday, November 14.

Between this and Super Meat Boy's introductory price, you could have yourself a veritable smorgasbord of digitally distributed delights for just few dollars -- let's just hope you've got plenty of spare patience for each. And all this arrives just in time to catch some new DLC for each game? It's a Christmas miracle!

Bethesda has announced that the Fallout: New Vegas launch garnered "record sales" last month. While the company didn't disclose precisely what those sales were, it did note that 5 million units were shipped to retailers worldwide. Combined with "a heavy volume" of digital downloads, the game has generated over $300 million in sales.

Meanwhile, war keeps changing as the Bethesda Blog has posted an update on the upcoming updates for Fallout: New Vegas. The company notes that it has "come up with solutions" for the Xbox 360 save issues (amongst other issues) and that "a comprehensive patch" for the PS3, Xbox and PC versions of the game is currently in the final testing and certification phase. Further details should arrive "in the coming weeks."

Furthermore, a patch should be issued for the PC version within the next week. Said patch should correct some save corruption issues and problems with companions. It will also improve performance for users with NVIDIA graphics cards and clear up some (presumably chaotic) Havok problems.

Some of this merchandise is related to the new Monster Hunter title coming out, which isn’t going to land on Wii. Still, now that we’ve had an installment on the Nintendo side of things, we can still appreciate some of the more basic merchandise.

Guys, we're screwed. We're not going to be able to resist buying Donkey Kong Country Returns, but the more media we consume from the game -- like the trailer posted below -- the more convinced we become that the game is going to be so difficult, that we might uncontrollably weep while playing it.

I'll buy it, but I'm still pretty sure that nothing is going to beat out Super Meat Boy for best platformer of the past decade.

Hi everyone! In the 15 years that I’ve been working for PlayStation, this marks my debut on the PlayStation Blog, so allow me to take just a moment to introduce myself. My name is Joby Hirschfeld and I oversee the team responsible for the design and build of such things as the incredible booths you see at conferences likeE3 and CES, the visuals for PlayStation press conferences, video production, the look and feel of the displays at your local retailers as well as the designs on the packaging of the PlayStation products you know and love.

I’m stopping by today to pull back the curtain on a new project that we’ve been hard at work on for consumers in the New York area. Opening tomorrow afternoon at 550 Madison in New York City’s Manhattan is the brand new PlayStation Lounge, the only place where you’re guaranteed to get your hands on the all new PlayStation Move motion controller, in addition to PS3’s, PSP’s and the incredible line-up of software that accompanies them.

This site holds significance for our brand as it is not only the location of our New York SonyStyle Store, but also home to Sony headquarters in New York City. The PlayStation Lounge, located in the lower level of the building, was designed from the ground up to provide you with a one-stop-shop for all your PlayStation needs. It’s the must-hit destination if you’re still trying to get your hands on PlayStation Move or searching for the latest PlayStation first and third-party games.

We’ve designed this store with you, the fans, in mind and we can’t wait for you to see it. When PlayStation Lounge opens tomorrow you will finally be able to get your hands on game demos never before available to the public including Killzone 3 and Motorstorm: Apocalypse, play portions of Gran Turismo 5 first previewed at E3, check out the SingStar and EyePet showcases and, on opening day, have your picture taken with Sackboy from the award-winning LittleBigPlanet franchise.

The first 50 people with PlayStation purchases over $100 will also receive a free Bluetooth 2.0 headset. In addition, we’ll be handing out exclusive PlayStation Move t-shirts while supplies last as well as raffling off PlayStation Move bundles every two hours beginning at 12:00pm ET and ending at 8:00pm ET.

While you’re here you can also pick up your copies of The Fight: Lights Out for PlayStation Move and Call of Duty: Black Ops for your PlayStation 3, both available Tuesday at the PlayStation Store.

Hope to see you there!

There is also a cool Japanese book store near the Nintendo Store, so it's nice that everything is within walking distance.
Then again, I guess everything in New York is walking distance.

You may not know the name "Artificial Mind and Movement" but its one of the oldest and largest independent game developers working today and also the oldest operating developer in gaming superhub Montreal. A2M, as it's been called, began work on original IP, creating Jersey Devil for the PlayStation in 1998. But back then it was known as Behaviour Interactive and, beginning today, it will be Behaviour Interactive once again. We spoke with CEO and founder Rémi Racine about the name change, what it means for his studio and its goal of becoming a consumer-facing developer instead of a business-facing work-for-hire studio.

"We're trying to do more and more of our own IP," Racine told Joystiq. "Our name becomes more and more present to the game community when you do your own stuff, so that triggered the change" to Behaviour Interactive. "Because of Wet and Naughty Bear and the Wanako brand and Assault Heroes, we're moving more and more into our own IP."

Killzone 3's beta is looking for more soldiers to test out the game. Sure, that involves dying repeatedly, but it's all for the greater good of more balanced gameplay. PlayStation Plus members in North America and Europe should check their PSN accounts, as 5,000 more recruits have been invited onto the battlefield.

If you're wondering what's going on in the beta, check out our preview.
