While Majin and the Forsaken Kingdom hasn't been entirely forsaken by publisher Namco, it has seen its release date bumped up by a week at the last minute and now, its seen its price slashed considerably by at least two different online retailers. Siliconera spotted that the new $39.99 price at both Amazon and Gamestop though only the latter shows the lower price across both Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 releases. Amazon only shows the lower price on the PS3 release.

With little in the way of pre-release buzz, the price cut may be a shrewd move to help move some units, something Namco could really use. We've asked the publisher if this new, lower price will be available everywhere across both releases. We'll let you know what we find out.

Good news, everyone: The Earth has once again completed its celestial lap 'round the Sun! You might have other manners of measuring the start/stop times of the Julian year, but we prefer our method, which is to wait for Capcom to announce the next MotoGP game. That happened earlier today, when the publisher revealed March 2011 will see the 360 and PS3 release of MotoGP: Hyper Wheelz of Fury 2: Sword of Suzuki. No, no, that's not true at all. It is, of course, titled MotoGP 10/11.

According to Capcom, MotoGP 10/11 will keep in line with its predecessors by delivering "all the content from the 2010 MotoGP season and offer downloadable updates for the 2011 MotoGP championship shortly after the season starts." You'll be able to play through said content with a friend, as the game will add a local splitscreen co-op mode, which lets a fellow biker join your MotoGP team to help take top honors in championship races. We expect the occurrence of Talladega Nights-esque slingshot maneuvers will increase tenfold once this new feature is implemented.

Well, that didn't take long. Less than two months after announcing their new studio, Vanguard Entertainment, Guerrilla Games cofounders Martin de Ronde and Michiel Mol have announced their first project, Gatling Gears, to be published by EA Partners. A followup to this year's downloadable Greed Corp, Gatling Gears is "set within the same Mistbound universe featuring signature elements like collapsing land, walker units and warring factions, but now with twin-stick shooter controls and a new hero, Max Brawley."

Vanguard was formed by combining the duo's Karami studio with Greed Corp-developer W!Games. And like Greed Corp, Gatling Gears will be coming to three platforms: Xbox Live Arcade, PlayStation Network, and PC. With a Spring 2011 release planned, it shouldn't be long until we hear more about this particular Gears (the other one got delayed, remember?). In the meantime, you'll have to take what you can get: the postage stamp-sized image above that we nicked from Vanguard's humble website.

If your thirst for 2D platforming was left unquenched by Super Meat Boy, well, for starters, you're insatiable. But you're also in luck! EA just announced it'll bring Flash hit Fancy Pants Adventures to XBLA and PSN in the spring of 2011. The beautifully animated and scored platformer will come from Borne Games, Over the Top and EA 2D, a digital-distribution focused branch of the publisher.

We normally would buck at paying for a game that's been free for so long, but a promised new world, new weapons and new enemies may be enough to have us digging for our wallets in our gigantic, flowing orange pants.

EA Partners has pulled the covers off its newest acquisition, Warp, a "unique sci-fi stealth action game" coming from newcomer Trapdoor to XBLA, PSN and PC in the summer of 2011. Well, not "pulled the covers off of" so much as "pulled one little corner up and then pulled it back down right away." Here's everything we know: It "features a top-down sci-fi world with a distinctive art style, addicting levels, hazardous traps and challenging puzzles." Fin. Oh, and we found this picture from the Trapdoor offices. Good luck with that.

Listen, we're touched that EA Partners knows us well enough to play upon our Pavlovian desire for products combining the words "stealth," "action," "addicting," "hazardous" and "sci-fi" despite have no context for said descriptors. We just wish it wasn't so good at it.

We know that Sackboy dominates whole worlds in LittleBigPlanet, but he's always stayed in the present, content to steal our dreams in modern times. We worry that may be about to change though, as the Australian Classification Board has rated "Sackboy's Prehistoric Moves" for release. Siliconera shrewdly theorizes this will be a Move-centric release, thanks to the title and Media Molecule's development partner for the project, Supermassive (the house behind Start the Party and Tumble).

We're happy to see Sackboy branching out, but why would Media Molecule release yet another game when LittleBigPlanet 2 is already all of the games? What sense does that make?

It's been a rough quarter for Ignition. Earlier this month, the company was forced to shut down its Flordia branch and had to cancel a game it had in development for five years, WarDevil. Today, that pain is increased five-fold, as some footage of Reich, a first-person shooter in development at the Florida offices and, naturally, a casualty of the recent layoffs, has emerged over at GameVideos. Based on the five different videos we've embedded past the break, we're pretty bummed out. Reich looks like a neat sci-fi shooter with quality physics. What say you all?

Crysis 2 may still be on the horizon, but Crytek already sees a future in which Crysis is a vastly popular franchise with several sequels. "It's in our best interest to grow Crysis into a very long-running franchise. Maybe that means Crysis 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 ... Crysis Infinity," executive producer Nathan Camarillo said in a recently published interview with Eurogamer. (We imagine Bam Margera doesn't show up until at least number seven, a la the Tony Hawk series.)

"It's the start of a new future for Crysis. We're taking it very seriously," Camarillo said, adding, "That's all I can really say about it. We wouldn't put this much effort into it if this were where it was ending. That doesn't make sense." And, despite earlier ambiguity, he further solidified the future of the series by outright stating, "We plan on growing it into a big franchise." So there you have it! Crysis 3? Confirmed ... alongside Crysis 12.
