Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions is getting a PC release right around Thanksgiving this year -- kind of. According to the game's official Facebook page, the North American PC version will only be available at Walmart over the Thanksgiving weekend, which means if you want it, you'll have to brave the unwashed crowds to get it (or just send the scariest member of your family). After that first weekend, it'll presumably go on sale elsewhere, so you can wait the extra week if you so choose.

The rest of the world doesn't have to deal with any exclusivity agreements -- the PC version will be on sale in Australia and Asia on November 24, and in Europe on November 26.

[Thanks, Steve]

Enslaved's sharp-shooting porktagonist, Pigsy, is looking for love -- in all the wrong places, evidently. Instead, these new shots from Ninja Theory's upcoming DLC, "Pigsy's Perfect 10," suggest that the portly fellow finds a lot of angry mechs bent on roasting his rump.

The financial results for the first half of Atari's fiscal year have been released. The company reported net revenue of €29.6 million ($40.5 million) for the period, a substantial decline from the €68.5 million ($93.8 million) reported during the same period last year. Revenue was "in line with expectations" however, given Atari's new focus on "fewer but more profitable games."

Speaking of profit, income has improved, though Atari isn't back in the black just yet. The company posted an operating loss of €8.5 million ($11.6 million), a considerable improvement over the €19.9 million ($27.2 million) loss during the same period last year. Atari expects income for the second half of the year to be "slightly negative to break even."

Highlighting the shift toward more online and downloadable games, Atari noted that online revenue including subscription fees for Star Trek Online and Champions Online totaled €12.9 million ($17.6 million), comprising 43.6 percent of its overall revenue. During the same period last year, online revenue totaled only €1.8 million ($2.4 million), or 2.6 percent of overall revenue.

If you're anything like us, you've got a serious affinity for the third Super Mario Bros. NES game. However, there's no way you have the same amount of love that GBATemp.net forum user SKJmin does for the decades old game. SKJmin tirelessly remade Super Mario Bros. 3 in the New Super Mario Bros. (DS) engine. Just yesterday, the final, totally bonkers trailer for the patch went up, which we've dropped after the break.

As both properties are wholly owned by Nintendo, the mod is offered for free and the creator doesn't pack the NSMB ROM with the download. Additionally, repeated warnings are given to would-be thieves, such as "Please remember, don't download this if you don't have the original game from Nintendo! You have been warned!!" As of right now, the patch isn't available, but is said to be coming at some point tomorrow, just in time to make your weekend way, way more awesome.

We know it's our job to find and disseminate information for you, our beloved readers, but -- we're sorry, there's just no way of knowing what's going on in the image above. We know that it's called the "Avenger," and that it's from peripheral maker N-Control, and that it snaps onto your Xbox 360 controller and supposedly "allows for rapid, fluid movements between individual buttons and analogue sticks, allowing gamers to access nine functions simultaneously." Still, even after watching these testimonials -- no idea. Are those mandibles? And where'd all the buttons go? Did the Avenger eat them? With its mandibles?

The attachment will run you $59.99. It will also cost you the chance of us ever looking you in the eye like a normal human being ever, ever again.

After proving its ability to keep its own spiny mascot alive with the well-received Sonic Colors, Sega has turned its efforts to preserving the non-flatness of real-life hedgehogs in the suburb of Twickenham, London. The publisher recently designated a temporary "hedgehog road crossing" in the town, allowing a handful of the woodland creatures to scamper about without fear of being struck by one of the region's tiny, steering-wheel-on-the-wrong-sided vehicles.

Yes, it was very much a publicity stunt, but Sega representative Anna Downing told Eurogamer that she hopes it will "raise awareness" of the 50,000 hedgehogs who die every year while trying to cross British roads. That's a pretty good cause, we guess -- but you know what would raise even more driver awareness of hedgehogs? If you painted them all bright blue. Food for thought.
