We're about to set our weekend off with a quick trip to the Mega-Multiplex to go see Danny Boyle's newest opus, 127 Hours --but we're still confused as to why they decided to make a movie about this guy. So, he gets trapped in a crevasse, cuts his own arm off and makes it back to civilization alive? Big whoop. We could do all that stuff, too. Well, the first two things, anyway. Well, the first thing, anyway. Of course, to get in that crevasse, we'd probably have to climb something, which is absolutely out of the question. So ... yeah. Never mind, then.

We'd much rather stay behind the safety of our keyboards, compiling our seven favorite gaming-themed webcomics in this, the Weekly Webcomic Wrapup. Check them out below, and vote for your favorite after the jump!

Full Circle (Penny Arcade)
Bust A Move (Nerf Now)
Karma (Brawl in the Family)
Starkiller, Literally (Digital Unrest)
Multi-touch (Virtual Shackles)
Beep Beep (No Cash Value)
Sledgehammer Not Included (Of Noobs and Men)

While it may not hold the same honors as Dead Space Girl, this mouth-watering image is one of the most frequently used throughout Joystiq history, reserved for many of our Peggle-related stories. Considering its wide cross-platform availability, we're almost certain you know exactly what Peggle is, and why it's so addicting. Surprisingly, PopCap's game has not yet made it to Sony's handheld -- a fact will be rectified next Tuesday when it lands on the PSN for $9.99.

PopCap's Michael Santora promises that the PSP version will include "all the original Masters, challenges, and levels in adventure mode," but unfortunately, he makes no mention of any Peggle Nights. Considering how late the PSP version is, we're surprised no additional content is being added. It certainly makes justifying the $10 asking price a bit more difficult.

Some good stuff, some strange stuff, but is it all worth $300? I think that’s a little debatable. Thanks to MickeyMouseWarrior for the heads up!

#clips Ultimately, Mafia II suffered from too much imagination and not enough substance; "Jimmy's Vendetta," its first paid DLC extension, lacked both. But this trailer for its second, Joe's Adventures, due Nov. 23, actually looks promising. More »

$2.50 doesn't buy a lot these days -- we remember when two bucks and fifty cents could get you a few movie rentals, a nice big bag of candy, or even a sweet comic book. But nowadays, it barely buys you a cup of coffee. One thing you can do with your $2.50 this weekend, though, is take advantage of Games for Windows Live's Deal of the Week -- they're offering up the terrific indie game Osmos for just two dollars and two quarters.

The game's great -- it was an Indiecade finalist last year, and has you playing as a celestial body trading off mass for movement and always trying to eat orbs bigger than you are. $2.50 doesn't go as far as it used to, but this deal, on through Wednesday of next week, is money well spent.

It only took seven Heat the Soul games on the PSP before Sony decided to bring the popular Shonen Jump manga & anime series to the PS3. Soul Ignition is the first Sony-published Bleach game for the PS3, and although details are slim, it appears that at least three of the main characters will have a starring role: Ichigo, Rukia and Ishida.

Soul Ignition isn't set to be released until 2011, and it's likely to remain a Japan-only release. Sony has -- for reasons unknown to us -- refused to localize any of its Bleach games thus far. Thankfully, like its PSP predecessors, this should be an easy find at an import store.

Professionial Activision, umm, guy Dan "One of Swords" Amrich has posted nine interesting secrets from Call of Duty: Black Ops' multiplayer map Nuketown. Sure, everybody probably noticed the double rainbow all the way across the sky (what does it mean?), but did you notice the names on the mailboxes, or the fact that the town clock and population board actually count the actual time left and players present in the match? There's also a few secret RC-XD hidey holes (seen above), and apparently Nuketown isn't the only map with a few secret places to send your buzzing remote controlled car of doom.

Say what you want about Activision's evil empire or the money-making steamroller that Call of Duty has become, but no one can say Treyarch didn't pack the stuffing out of this game with hidden content.
