#hybrid If you knew a little something about which people make which video games, the trailer for a game called Hybrid released earlier this month seemed strange. More »
We're pretty sure if we were given only a handful of characters and stages from Marvel vs. Capcom 3: Fate of Two Worlds in a free trial, we could stretch out our enjoyment of it for an awfully long time. We won't get the opportunity, however: In a recent post on the Capcom Unity forums, VP of Strategic Planning Christian Svensson confirmed to anticipatory fans that, "As with Street Fighter IV, there will be no demo of MvC3."
Svensson also responded to a few fans theories about yet-to-be-revealed fighters, and also defended Capcom's decision to sell downloadable characters, stating "DLC is part of the business model these days given the massive costs of production and can be the difference between a profitable product and an unprofitable product." Oh, wait -- that's gotta be another hint, right? An unprofitable product? That's like, pretty much confirmation of the inclusion of Dark Void protagonist William Grey.

Fledgling heroes in the treacherous world of Albion have enough to worry about without fretting over the ever-present possibility of encountering Fable 3's technical hiccups. Luckily, Lionhead has revealed its plans to reduce the number of bugs -- as discovered and reported by the game's fans -- with an upcoming patch. This update will remedy issues such as corrupted save files, problems with the Sanctuary room, and some general performance issues like framerate drops and audio glitches.
Lionhead also announced that it will release a "voice over pack" for certain unnamed regions -- but did not explain exactly what would be included in said pack. Our theory? All of the in-game characters' voices will be replaced by Stephen Fry's voice. "Even the ladies," you might ask? Absolutely.

Artist Jason Freeny has helped Insomniac custom-sculpt this one-of-a-kind set of cross-sectioned vinyl figures of Ratchet & Clank for a charity auction. More »
It has taken a very long time, but it seems like the Inazuma Eleven series is actually going to see life outside of Japan. The latest information indicates that Inazuma Eleven is going to release in Europe on January 28th, 2011. The date itself pertains to Sweden and Norway right now, but [...]
Striking a balance between cute and kinda disturbing, developer Insomniac and artist Jason Freeny have teamed up to auction off some one-of-a-kind Ratchet & Clank sculptures, with a portion of the proceeds going to charity. The set includes a 12" statue of Cpt. Qwark signed by Insomniac staff, a 6" Clank with flip-top head and brain inside, and a 10" quarter-cut sculpture of Ratchet that exposes his skeleton and digestive system. Also, if you're as perplexed (and nerdy) as we are to have noticed Clank has a brain, you'll be pleased the hear an Insomniac representative rationalizing it: "Let's call it artistic interpretation - as Clank is certainly a mechanical character in the series."
The amount to be donated to the Starlight Children's Foundation will be based on how much the set eventually sells for ($1000 = 10%, $1001-$2000 = 20% and $2001+ = 30%). As of this writing, the bidding is at $350, so the kids will currently get $35, which is just sad. It's almost as sad as the visions that will haunt us of a skinned Ratchet, laying on some medical student's dissection table.Charity auction: Neat Ratchet & Clank cut-away sculptures
