UbiWorkshop selling mysterious 'superhero' concept art on shirts

Ubisoft won't say what this 'superhero' concept design is for ... but it'll happily sell you a t-shirt of that design. Perhaps later, when the company actually reveals what this design (featuring "an old-time soviet exoskeleton?") is about, you'll be really cool for having the shirt even before it became a thing.

The design comes from UbiWorkshop's Concept Lab. Ubi's Julien Cuny teased some of the possible destinations for these images: "A comic book? Animated movie? Or live-action? A novel maybe? Anime? I don't know... a boardgame? Again, it's obviously not a video game..." Obviously? Again? The only "answer" provided is, "The best Superheroes are the ones you've never heard of," which suggests that the new property is about Batman erasing the entire world's memory.

The shirt will only be offered through December 6, for $20 CAD (also about $20 USD).

Call of Duty: Black Ops debuts at #1 (and #7) in Japan

Call of Duty: Black Ops launched in Japan last week, and though it wasn't the major cultural phenomenon it was here, it managed to top the Media Create sales charts for the week of Nov. 15-21. Well, the PS3 version did, anyway, with 128,922 copies sold. The Xbox 360 version came in at #7 with 30,279 copies. This is just the subtitled release -- it'll get another sales boost in December when the dubbed version arrives.

Other success stories in Japan last week include the sequel to Fossil Fighters on DS at #2, Pokemon Black/White at #3, Super Mario All-Stars Limited Edition at #4, and Tactics Ogre on PSP at #5. Black Ops trumped Colors last week, as Sonic raced to a #33 finish on Wii and #49 on DS.

The publisher has released "lite" versions of both Puzzle Agent and Puzzle Agent HD (for iPads and iPhone 4s), allowing you to get something new on your phone without dropping any cash.

If, however, you're more interested in spending small amounts of money than none, Telltale also launched a "30 Days of Telltale" sale today, offering a different discount every day through Christmas.
