GameTrailers has the debut moving-picture preview for Telltale's episodic Back to the Future game and, if you ignore the animation and lip-synching, it's looking pretty ... um -- hey, how awesome are those movies? They're on Blu-ray now, you know. Maybe we'll forget all about this awkward teaser when the first episode of the point-n-click adventure is made available for free sometime soon.

Revealed as a five-episode series, Back to the Future begins this month, before taking a winter break until February, when it'll pick back up with a new episode each month until the finale:
  • December: "It's About Time" (Episode 1)
  • February: "Get Tannen!" (Episode 2)
  • March: "Citizen Brown" (Episode 3)
  • April: "Double Visions" (Episode 4)
  • TBD: "OUTATIME" (Finale)
Back to the Future will be available for PC, Mac, PS3 (via PSN) and iPad. Previously, Telltale announced plans to launch the PC and Mac versions first. Check out the trailer after the break, or don't ... if you're chicken.

Many of us can't play PS2 games on our PS3s right now, but Sony has come up with a clever, and distinctly Sony-like, workaround for that problem: sticking a PS2 into a Bravia HDTV. And only ten years after the system's contemporary, the Dreamcast, was packed into a Fuji TV.

The budget-focused (okay, maybe it's not all that Sony-like) Bravia KDL-22PX300 includes 720p output, four HDMI ports ... and a PS2. We bet you can't guess where the PS2 hardware is in that sleek, sleek design. The set's currently available in the UK for £199.95 (about $312).

You'll be able to play the weird Kinect Pac-Man minigame on February 8.

That's also when you'll be able to play the rest of Namco Bandai's Body and Brain Connection, the brain training/exercise collection from Brain Age consultant Dr. Ryuta Kawashima -- but it's more interesting to think about it as the Kinect Pac-Man thing, with bonus brain training and exercise-based minigames.

Namco Bandai also sent out a bunch of new screens of the intellectually stimulating minigames contained within Connection. You get to work out with an animated light bulb! How many games let you do that?

Much like it did with Battlefield 1943, developer DICE will add an additional map, Operation Hastings, once a community challenge is met in the multiplayer expansion Battlefield: Bad Company 2 Vietnam. However, this time DICE isn't making the challenge a collective kill count of 43 million. In keeping more with the spirit of cooperation in the game, the map will unlock once the community accomplishes 69 million team actions (double entendres abound).

In order to unlock the fifth Vietnam map, you'll have to heal, spot, repair, revive and resupply as often as possible ... but you were already doing that, right?

BFBC2 Vietnam will be drafted into service on December 21. Check out the Operation Hastings challenge video after the break.

On December 21, Battlefield: Bad Company 2 Vietnam will arrive on the PlayStation 3 with the low, low cost of $14.99, adding some great new gameplay to an already fantastic shooter. You may already know that this expansion comes with new weapons, new vehicles, and four new maps, but what you may not know is that one of the most popular maps from 2004’s Battlefield: Vietnam will also be included in the bundle.

The fifth map, Operation Hastings, will add a new avenue for PlayStation gamers to show their superiority on the Battlefield featuring everything that makes BFBC2 Vietnam amazing: tanks, Jeeps, temples, boats and helicopters all in an environment featuring a distinctive bridge that separates the map into two main areas. Though, it’s not as easy as all that. It’s entirely up to you to unlock this fifth map.

To unlock Operation Hastings, we’ve decided to start up a new community challenge for all of our fans dubbed The Battle for Hastings. To unlock Operation Hastings, our entire audience will need to perform 69 million team actions within Battlefield: Bad Company 2 and Battlefield: Bad Company 2 Vietnam. While this sounds like a daunting task, we’re sure our PlayStation 3 fans can handle it, as these actions include resupplies, revives, heals, spots and repairs, allowing for plenty of avenues to achieve this goal.

Get ready to jump back into the Battlefield on December 21, and we’ll be counting the support actions until you unlock Operation Hastings for the entire world to enjoy.

Even though you'll have to temporarily step away from the World of WarCraft, and abandon your guild, in order to pick up Cataclysm (unless you buy it digitally), you'll still have the opportunity to commune with fellow WoW players while buying the new expansion.

GameStop will be hosting midnight release events, including "trivia and dance" contests, starting at 10PM on December 6, at its 3,500 stores across the U.S. Buying the expansion at one of these locations won't just increase your risk of vampire attack (what, you don't worry about that at night?), it'll also qualify you for savings on routers, headsets and other PC gaming accoutrements. Additionally, people who buy Cataclysm from GameStop within the first 48 hours of release get a 50-percent bonus in PowerUp Rewards points.
