If you were one of the charitable souls who purchased the Humble Indie Bundle earlier this year, donating an amount of your choosing to Child's Play while also supporting independent game development -- or, if you were one of those cretins who pirated the package instead of paying a penny for it -- we've got good news. The Bundle's creators have worked out a deal with Valve to allow the five games therein to be activated on the Steam platform. How convenient!

If you missed out on the choose-your-own-price collection when it was available this past summer, don't get too glum -- the Bundle's official site has been updated with a teaser for a second dose of affordable indie games. We'll let you know when we hear more about this collection, which we're temporarily naming the "Presumably Even Humbler Indie Bundle."

Hi Everyone! There’s been a lot of talk about what shooter games will be like using motion control. We know that some of you gamers might be a bit hesitant to put down the gamepad, but we believe the upcoming PlayStation Move sharp shooter will make motion control for shooter games quite irresistible. Available concurrently with the highly anticipated Killzone 3 in Feb 2011 for $39.99 (MSRP), the sharp shooter is perfect for gamers who want to experience the most realistic action possible.

The PlayStation Move sharp shooter houses both the motion controller and navigation controller, giving you complete control over aiming, movement and interaction within the game. It will truly offer the most intuitive and immersive control experience ever found in a shooter game. It was designed for both comfort and precision, including easily accessible buttons, a responsive digital trigger, adjustable shoulder stock and convenient access to the navigation controller. In addition, the sharp shooter has incorporated a firing mode selector, realistic pump-action and a reload button that allow for new ways of engagement.

So what games will you be able to use the PlayStation Move Sharp Shooter with? The PlayStation Move sharp shooter was designed specifically with games such as Killzone 3 and SOCOM 4: U.S. Navy SEALs in mind and even comes with a Killzone 3 and SOCOM 4 sticker pack. Other compatible titles include Time Crisis: Razing Storm and Dead Space Extraction, but you can expect many more upcoming games that will work with it as well.

We have some more peripherals news to share with you. In addition to the PlayStation Move sharp shooter, a new “Jungle Green” DUALSHOCK 3 wireless controller will also be available in February 2011 for $54.99 (MSRP), to coincide with the upcoming launch of Killzone 3. There is already a wide array of colors available in the DUALSHOCK 3 family. Tailored to the core fan, the new “Jungle Green” controller will add yet another option for you to accessorize.

We hope you’re all as excited to get your hands on the PlayStation Move sharp shooter or the “Jungle Green” DS3 controller as we are. Enjoy!

Joystiq has learned from a trusted source that BioWare's enigmatic teaser from last month represents the first glimpse of Mass Effect 3. As many have guessed, the third installment looks to feature something brand new to the series: multiplayer. We're currently unable to confirm that the multiplayer component will be part of the game's unveiling at the upcoming Spike Video Game Awards.

The Spike VGAs will air this Saturday night, preceded by a good deal of internet speculation brought on by the above teaser image. As spotted by one of our commenters, Arth Vader, the gun above looks exactly like the M-29 Incisor Sniper Rifle from Mass Effect 2. BioWare has also blasted out curious QR codes via its Twitter feed, all of which indirectly reference things from the Mass Effect universe, including the Vostok system and the surface temperature of the planet Aequitas.

So, who's ready for more Mass Effect? Do we even need to ask?

The "Double Civilization and Scenario Pack" is the second DLC bundle for Civilization 5, adding two civilizations and a "New World" scenario that takes place in 1492. The additional civs have Queen Isabella repping for Spain and Pachacuti being the go-to negotiator for the Incan Empire. The pack will hit the interwebs on December 16 for $7.49 on PC and Mac.

The "Cradle of Civilization" DLC pack, which was a pre-order bonus, released earlier this month for $10. All this DLC nickel and dime talk may be distressing, but a major, free patch should be available before the next bit of paid DLC goes live.

No, Frima Studio didn't receive two dollars to unveil its new game -- rather, the new PlayStation Mini from the Young Thor/Zombie Tycoon developer is called A Space Shooter for Two Bucks! You can guess both the genre and price from the title. Despite the low price, Frima Studio has included full voiceover for both the pilot character and his sarcastic AI companion, as well as every other character who, for some reason, has lines to speak in a shmup.

If you have PlayStation Plus, you'll be able to get A Space Shooter For Two Bucks! for free when it launches on December 21.

You'd think life on a space station would be pretty neat. Pristine walkways, star-filled views and, of course, all the replicated food you can eat. Unfortunately, life on the Sprawl is about to get brutish, terrifying, and kind of gross. See what we mean in the latest trailer for Dead Space 2.

A portion of a Game Informer review… Despite its shortcomings, Marvel Super Hero Squad: The Infinity Gauntlet is a charming game. Even during the Galactus battle, it was hard not to smile while fighting the planet-hungry giant by firing tacos into his mouth from a flying truck. I dodge, which was lucky, as even my hefty shield wouldn't have saved me from the boot of the gorgeously-rendered mechanical titan I'm doing battle with. I curse myself for not wearing my magical healing ring. It was stupid, but I wanted the experience point from leveling up my weaker fire ring. I slash at the titan's hammer, trying to match the angle of his swing so I can successfully parry and hit him with a flurry of blows from my poison-tipped blade. I pull it off and move in for the kill, leaping skyward, the sun glinting off my armor as I bury the sword in the monster's metallic head.

This is Infinity Blade. And it's all happening on my iPhone.
